It is not hentai, but getting awfully close a few times. Besides that, the series a bit hard to fit anywhere. It has tons of nudity, a lot of cheesy comedy, but also action and a somewhat episodic story.
This much pointless fanservice usually turns me off, but the first episode did have its interesting points, such as her her sidekick, you typical loser anime male, surprising you by actually being able to fight or her very unique "companion". |

dammn you people are soft!
It's not even, remotely, closely, near, vaguely hentai It just has some nudity. frigging hell. I agree it for older people, not suitable for viewers under 16yrs of age. But animesuki has to stop pussy footing around like this. It does not deserve a "R-rated" title. (dammn over here we only award 18-Cert to PORNOGRAPHY) This anime contains NO SCENE HERE SHOWS INTERCOURSE. But has scene that do suggest sexual intercourse of a violent nature But this is only occure in the first investigation/case (it is based on a frigging Horror manga ) As for a summary: It is about Misaki who is from a little government funded department of wellfare & life. She is basicially a Exocist. She can see dead people!!! (that is like...so over used....) She just likes the costume because she has a side job as a S&M Mistress, along with her partner, (forgot his name dammit) but is in love with her, (hes about early 20's, misaki is around 19.) He is absolutely petrify about ghost, i remember one scene! hehehe it was so funny! hehehe...anyway, he is her cheuffer and personal assistant and liason to the department head, and when the time calls, her bodyguard. He is a black belt in martial arts (fogot what type) and trust me he kick arse!! she has this strange rope, that she can control and suggest it contains a spirit of some kind that helps her do stuff, like hold down a violent client of assilents. Thus she is sent to exocist specific locations to make people's lifes much better, make property avaiable for rent, construction sites safe again, etc etc. You see? its a kinda wellfare yes? Plus there is a strange underlined conspiracy, in the main arch in the story that suggest there is some sort of underworld/mortal arrangment that aimed to bring certain people with suicidal intent to do their business at location where previous people have died a violent death, why are they doing this? who knows.... (well actually i know, but its too good to give out :fingers: ) So there you have it. Of course sometimes the Anime isn't as good as the manga, but i think this one looks ok, but this is only on the first episode, let see if the second episode and the next one after that will follow the manga just as close. |

I watched the first episode and thought it was alright... to make up for a so-so plot, they put in some fanservice with some action... imo, the visuals aren't that great... nothing too impressive in the first episode... but it does get points for having a S&M queen with powers as the main character... I definitely never seen that before... I'll probably check out the next episode and see how this goes...

Heh, contrary to some of the views I actually really enjoyed this first OVA... Somehow I already feel connected to the S&M queen, hehe, she rules The drawing was different which I liked, and the story of the villian dude was pretty neat (hint: I dont know the names yet).
Looking forward to the next release |

What is Teizokurei Daydream like?
I know little to nothing about this anime called TEIZOKUREI DAYDREAM. I know it has a lot to do with the supernatural. It looks very very disturbing; just what I like. What I don't know about it is how it is disturbing? Is it a supernatural tragic life story thing with excessive fan serves; is it some horror like hentai, or something else? Let me know whats up with it. Thanks

The story centers around a woman who can see and communicate with ghosts. She uses her abilities in solving mysterious and gruesome cases--often related to murder or suicides. I'm not sure about OVA because I haven't really checked it out yet, but in the manga there's a good dose of nudity and bondage imagery. (And because it's in black and white, the manga definitely has a darker atmosphere than the OVA.) It isn't that violent however. Nevertheless, I find its "rated R" rating to be relatively apt for what it is.

Interesting... It sounds like it could be a more unique type of anime. I am all into the dark atmosphere type stuff and I don't mind the nudity one bit, but I wonder how they present it. Hopefully it is not too hentai-ish; driven on just S&M and the supernatural. Maybe just maybe it has a good story line too.

I dont know why you all are complaining about the nudity and "near rape" scence theres been alot worse and of all things nudity and sexual content doesnt offend me near as much as some violent shows. If I were a parent Id be more concerned about those than if my kids saw a little T&A.
Also I liked Daydream, it was original enough but unfortunatly Ive only seen the first ep and cant find anymore of it. It has been licenced but who knows when itll accually be released... anybody?? |
