High School DxD Light Novel - Character Speculation/Theories: Issei's Harem

IsseixSerafall and IsseixGabriel are two of the crackiest of the crack when it comes to crack pairings. They have shown absolutely no interest aside from friendly chiding in their part. Or am I missing something?

Hello,
I'm new here. Finished reading all the light novels and found the series to be fun and interesting. I found myself thinking over the full harem that Isse has (or at least the girls that have expressed interest) and made a list. Once I found this discussion, figured it wouldn't hurt to share.

Rias (Set in stone)
Asia (Set in stone)
Akeno (Set in stone)
Koneko (pretty much set in stone)
Ravel (pretty set in stone)

Spoiler for Volume 19:

Assuming she survives the events of vol 19 but sure she will, or at least be brought back in Volume 20.

Xenovia (set in stone)
Irina (set in stone once she gets past the 'falling issue')
Ross (becoming pretty much certain)

Le Fay (Already has a crush, living in Isse's house, is his magician. I'd say her odds are pretty good)
Ophis (Living in Isse's house, fascinated with Isse, fills the twin trope)
Lilith (fills the twin trope,

Spoiler for Volume 18:

switched sides in already so I assume is living with Isse as well.

Kuroka (Living with Isse, flirty and wants his child. Don't see her going anywhere. )

The rest is pure speculation based on tropes, in volume actions, Isse's peerage and the simple fact that she seems to be accumulating at least one girl of any type that he encounters.

Elmenhilde -(Mostly because she is the only unclaimed vamp and because she was so superior, I can't image her not being taken down a few pegs when she returns, and so far all female characters have returned as far as I can remember).

Kunou/Yasaka -(Expect one or the other to join as his youkai though there are enough issues with either that it is hard to tell. Kunou likes him already and can leave Kyoto but is young enough not sure the series will last for her to join unless the epilogue is way in the future. Yasaka has Isse's attention and fills a MILF role but can't travel from Kyoto. Plus she doesn't seem like the type to steal the guy her daughter likes.)

Tiamat - (Mostly because the harem needs more dragons, everything seems to revolve around them. Plus Isse doesn't have anyone that truly hates him initially but still joins up, yet. I can see him winning her over just like making peace with Vali.)

Also, I was looking at the girls with pieces that have expressed their admiration of him and it was interesting. Asia and Xenovia have stated they would come along when he pursues his own peerage and Ravel is ready to be traded giving him two bishops and a knight.

Tsubasa Yura -(States she likes Isse though doesn't want to face Rias about it) Rook
Bennia - (Major crush on the Oppai dragon) Knight
Isabela - (Shows some admiration to Isse. Though she might be 'spoiled and not a virgin' I can see this if

Having learned about demons in Volume 19,

can't see her not becoming a bigger part eventually. Probably revealed her glasses measuring a guy's junk is a function of a Sacred gear. She'd be a Pawn, likely more than one piece. Makes her into the 'glasses girl'.)

That just leaves the queen and maybe another pawn or two. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tiamat as queen, with maybe Elmenhilde being the other. Be funny to see her reaction at being a 'lowly' pawn.

Those I don't see joining:
All the girls already spoken for including Valerie (Gasper), Shinra (Kiba), Momo (Saji), Ruruko (Saji) and of course Grayfia (no matter how fun she is drunk).

Any of the current or future leaders of the factions. Including Gabriel, Penemue and Serafall. (Just don't see this a being possible. No many restrictions and rules, plus too difficult to blend in with the current girls).

Seekvaira (Does like Mechs like Isse does, and his armor is Mech like, but really don't see her being willing to share or her family allowing such a thing.)

Sona Sitri (Can't see this ever. Isse wouldn't do that to Saji, Sona wouldn't do it to Rias, her family wouldn't allow it, he's not smart enough, etc. Though her being nicer to Isse could allow her pieces to transfer).

Extremely unlikely but slight chance:

Kiyome Abe (I know she's interested in Isse but Rias said no, flat out. Only a side story type anyway so doubt she'd join unless she ended up in Isse's peerage. Long shot there though.)

Reya Kusaka (Not been seen much but don't think she has been paired up yet).

Tomoe Meguri (mostly interested in younger boys, so figure very unlikely, but hasn't really been officially paired up yet).

Not yet introduced character? Isse has Devils, a fallen angel, angel, a couple of dragons, a Norse Valkyrie, possibly a Grim Reaper (Greek/Roman), Cat Girl, Kitsune (likely) and most types we have seen so far.

He doesn't really have a monster girl yet though, even if he gets a vampire. I could see a harpy or lamia or some other very non-human creature join up. Possibly a werewolf? Plus they will be exploring, at least, the Indian gods soon enough and I could see someone from that group being paired up with Isse.

Sorry this ran on so long but there are so many characters already, didn't want to miss anyone.

↑Abe was pre gilfriend status, so maybe now Rias may be ok if she doesnt mind sharing him with like 10 girls or more

I've talked to death of this subject already in this thread so I'ma stay out of it, but I will say Ophis is a mascot character I don't think she'll join the harem in a romantic sense I also don't see any vampiers joining since Issei himself pretty much doesn't like them.

I would like Abe senpai to be brought back and included in the harem!!! I could see her as a pawn.

Ahhh! just imagining about Gabriel though. Azasel sensei would die of jealousy.

Issei hated fallen angels. He was not only betrayed by one that he truly loved (according to him at least, as far as I remember), but was even killed. Then there's also the fact that this very same fallen angel killed Asia in front of his eyes.

Then there's also Gasper which is half-vampire, yet he is precious underclassmen to Issei.

It's just that he didn't come across a pure-blooded vampire that he would agree with on behavioral aspects. He doesn't refuse to like vampires. He just didn't meet one that he would like...yet at least. That's the difference.

If Issei stuck with his first impressions he would never have become friends with Azazel or Vali (OK, he and Vali are not actually friends, but he trusts him a lot more now).

Did you read my 2nd sentence? Author asspulling. Sure he gets past it but I still believe in what I said. Issei goes from one extreme to the other you can't help but think that, at least for me.

That's only if you're thinking about her combat ability. If the enemy wanted to mess with Issei's head though, the best one to ressurect would probably be her.
