Waaaah, I wanna see what's happening in Soul Society....

Is it just me or is that new dude hitting on Ichi? He invites him to dinner, then with Ichi refuses, he brings dinner to him, and then calls him cute for liking chocolate. Awww.

Honestly, I suspect someone in soul society hired him as a bounty hunter/spy. And he's holding a stake-out in the human world, disguised as a human. Maybe Isshin owes someone money...

i think that maybe isshin was once part of the royal guard. he definitely seems like a top dog in soul society. he does seem to know urahara and yoruichi quite well, not to mention aizen himself. so i won't be surprised if he and aizen are related somewhat. but i'm just guessing here.

can't wait to find out who the kurosakis really are. don't think ichigo is someone else's son though, he is isshin's son but he's special for the same reason that isshin's true character is still a mystery to all of us.

Maybe the Ramen guy is the real Kurosaki Ichigo and Isshin is that guy's real father, which Aizen disclosed the truth to that guy. Kurosaki Ichigo is a weapon.

Even though girls have no chance in this manga, I'm curious about this twist about Karin. I thought it was odd her reiatsu suddenly jumped like that; how does that happen if you never even try to train it? It doesn't just get bigger by itself, right?

A tiny part inside me thinks Ichigo's power (or part of) may have somehow transferred to Karin. It's especially strange that Karin goes to Kisuke, what is her goal? Also how Kisuke addresses her gives me a curious feeling.

Then again I don't want to expect too much from it because as I said females have no chance in this manga.

^I think Karin is simply experiencing what Ichigo went through before becoming involved with Rukia. Consequently, I expect they both matured their power as they aged and went through puberty.

Why bother? Once he lost his power, the world of the Soul Society was forever closed to him, so why attempt to understand unknown facets of a world you can never be involved with again. Plus, undoubtedly the emotional stress of losing one of his defining characteristics created dissonance, resulting in him forcibly ignoring the world he once knew.

I think that what PJ means is that Ichigo doesn't even know his own relatives...like, if this guy is Ichigo's uncle (most likely imo), shouldn't he have at least met him once before in his pre-Rukia life?

Well thats assuming this guy is human but that probably won't be the case.
Plus in the case that he is still a soul reaper then I doubt he ever popped down to pay the family a visit.

Ichigo looks exactly like Kaien
To me at certain points Karin looks a bit like Kukaku
Shiba family used to be noble, Isshin has shinigami powers and resides in the real world the only time we ever see a shinigami like this is one who has been exiled Isshin had probably done something to get exiled and the Shiba family got stripped of their status as a result. John Travolta may be out for a bit of good ole revenge. Speculation though.

May seem a bit weak to the whole "hes the king or zero squad waa"

The Spirit King is probably not a person, Aizen called it a "thing" and Kisuke called it an "it". I no longer believe it is human being or a shinigami. It has to be something so special that KT probably doesn't know himself yet.
