lol there is so many Durarara EDs popping up but then thats ok as it's brilliantly epic in it's own right

I'm oddly very eager to see this series, much more than some others I've been waiting on for some time.

I have seen that parody before but it always bring a smile to my face. I love that song and I hope we get some upbeat songs for NuraMago as well.

I notice there's no Kana.

I really hope that they got Kenichi Suzumura for Itaku and Mamoru Miyano for young Nurarihyon

Thank god it's Deen and not the Studio Gallop which ANN was listing a while back (Note to himself: never trust ANN if the source is not listed ).

Anyway snatching stuff from mangahelpers...
Spoiler for New pic, with information on the anime...:

Broadcaster: BS11 Digital
Director: Junji Nishimura (Simoun, True tears, Windy Tales...)
Series Composition: Natsuko Takahashi (07-Ghost, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, You're Under Arrest: Full Throttle...)
Character Design: Mariko Oka (Hell Girl, Ghost Hound, Jing: King of Bandits...)
Youkai Design: Tagashira Shinobu (Shonen Onmyouji, Amatsuki, D.C. ~Da Capo~...)
Music: Tanaka Kouhei (Buso Renkin, GaoGaiGar: King of Braves, One Piece...)
Sound Director: Gouda Hozumi (Vampire Knight, Tower of Druaga, Umineko no Naku Koro ni...)
Animation Production: Studio Deen

Hell yes it's Nishimura, now I really looking forward for this adaptation...

Director of True Tears and Simoun? This probably won't be too bad after all.

Well the director definitely restored my faith, now the question is whether this is going to have a crappy budget like Fairy Tail.

Looking nicer than I expected. One of the few anime that I pray for its success.

Oh come on, Soul Society was alright
Oddly enough, I got reminded of Inuyasha when I read the blurb.

Here's a preview from this year Tokyo International Anime Fair;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbI3s...layer_embedded

The animation looks really good, thank god Deen choose a great staff. I just hope that they can change back Tsurara's scarf to the manga's design, but it's really not that big a deal if they don't.

Can't really tell if they have good animation or not, since it's just the usual standard PV. Hoping they are just saving the budget for a preview.

Considering TAF is quite high profile, I don't think it's just the standard PV. Anyway, PV is usually can be a good sign whether the animation will suck or not. At least, it's much better than that awful Fairy Tail

You know, there are static images for nearly half the PV, and you think it's high quality? ._.
Let me be prank, I don't see any thing special about the PV that can scream "good quality". The only good thing is the artwork.

The PV at least looks good, I'm hoping with this being one of the next big JUMP series it at least gets a decent budget unlike Fairy Tail.

Now as for the DEEN hate.. I despise them for what they did to Umineko and think the majority of their series are flat out average in production values. But when you see people cheering that DEEN didn't get a series, and instead it goes to someone like Asread.. the same Asread who f'd up Miname-ki over and over, the same Asread who's never put out anything as good as the Rurouni Kenshin and Read or Die OVAs let alone the Read or Die tv series.. well.. lol.

You do realize I was talking about the artwork? It's a different matter whether it will be as good as the manga or not and I didnt' say the series was good, I said the trailer was good.

I like the background music, it suits Mago very much. I really hope we can get a high quality trailer soon enough, a friend of mine who went to TAF said it was even better at the large screen. According to him, the producer, staff and seiyus seems very enthusiastic about the series. BTW, this year TAF rocks!

You did say it was the animation that is good Nitpicky as it might sound, animation usually refer to the smoothness of movements in amount of frames. Not liking how 'lazy' with so much stills either way. :\

Though artwork-wise, I'm liking it, nothing special but nothing disappointing. Would need to see more youkais designs though. And the PV was too short to showcase anything in any case.

I usually use the word animation to refer to artwork of anime. Trust me, if you where there at the TAF, you would've been much more impressed.
