I just ment this episode won't get as much attention as it deserves, I love Haruhi to death, but K-on is quite good as well and, as others have already mentioned, Haruhi airing on the same day has thrown a wrench in everyone's routine.

Ah well I'm pretty sure at this day and age almost everyone can get 'em over the internet so I'm sure people who want to watch both would still be able to.

Anyway still getting the episode and I hope it's a good one. No offense to K-On! lovers but lately I've been getting bored by it. @_@

I don't think so It's possible to give equal attention to both animes at once ..

each anime has its own strong points ^^ adding both together just gives us twice the pleasure

Thanks to KyoAni ^____^

EPIC Episode. I loved the song they performed.

I can't wait to have more Azusa.

I think the reason why this episode is good is because it has less moe than the previous ones. I hope the future episodes will also be like this.

When performing costume rape Sawa-chan gains super human strength!

It's Sawa-chan. Do we expect anything less?

Just finished watching this episode. It's a pretty good episode plus the song "my love is a stapler" is nice. I like Mio's vocals a lot than Yui's though.

If I'm right about Yui singing the OP and Mio doing the ED, then I agree 100% with this assessment.

Kind of a mediocre episode until the performance, which was quite nice and will hopefully silence the people who were complaining about the music video from episode 6. Not much else to say about it unfortunately, there weren't many really notable scenes this time. 7/10 for me.

The Haruhi news is a very pleasant surprise, but I will continue watching K-ON! as well since 1) I am enjoying it and 2) I am an unabashed KyoAni whore.

Such a shame Ui isn't joining. It'd be nice to see more of her.

Well, don't know if the chapter concerning her would be in the anime. But, if it does get in, we would be seeing more of her.

This episode is just awesome. That insert song (the one during freshman reception/introductory performance) is just fantastic. Nice duet, Mio and Yui. The freshman/newcomer Azusa is so excited by this performance that she stands on her toes.

Ui-chan didn't join the light music club? What club does she join? Yui-chan is so funny when she asks for ice-(cream).

I have watched the new Haruhi episode (another great anime by KyoAni), while it's good, K-on! is in my opinion much more entertaining and much funnier than Haruhi (I prefer a whole new Haruhi S2, rather than some new episodes mixed with older ones from season 1). And the new ED song for Haruhi for me is kind of a dissapointment. K-On! ED song is in my opinion much better. Hoping for 2nd OP and ED for K-On!

K-On! you are not forgotten!

This episode had a nice mix of the selling points of the series: Yui and Ui sisterly love, Sawako and her costume antics, Mio (more on her below, lolz), and a live performance. And I feel nothing was forced this time.

That thing about Mio being in another class apart from friends reminded me of Kagami, again.

About the live performance, the intro reminded me of Fuwa Fuwa Time but I decultured more with this new one. It must be the duet. It's also because I put some weight on the lyrics and it helps that Mio seems to be a sentimental and romantic kind of writer like me. The song is good lyric-wise especially, just that who would take a song entitled "My Love is a Stapler" seriously?!

EDIT: Oops, the intro of Love is a Stapler isn't like one in Fuwa Fuwa Time, it's the intro of Driver's High, the music video of which is the basis of the one in Fuwa Fuwa time. orz lol

Mio's lyrics are sweet. They are up there with pure sugar itself.

Very minimal Mio Moewhoring + Meido Yui = Awesome

Yui taking solo vocals, an awesome riff and a decently good ending solo = OMFGYAY FINALLY GODDAMMIT!

My Love is a Stapler feels like a better song than Fuwa Fuwa Time.

Therefore, this episode is awesome epic. Thank you K-On for reminding me why I love this show.
