The side chapter/omake reminds a lot of the first chapter, though Tatsumi got off comparatively better than that girl. IIRC, Akame's parents sold her and Kurome, but that was to the goverment rather than slave traders, so I guess their kinda of lucky too in a sense.

You know, for a moment the three girls reminded me of the Prismriver Sisters...
Still, this is Akame Ga Kill. It was expected that they'll undergo the most disgustingly sick ordeals possible. That ending though...

Then again we know from ch 1 that this was the world in this manga. Although ,this not mean that I will like if some of the NR girls end like this |

The author figured we might be getting the wrong idea about the manga with the shonen-esque fights and love comedy between Esdes and Tatsumi, so he decided to fix that.
If you meant specifically, he hit us with: Slavery, brutalization, beatings, mutilation, rape, rape by animals, suicide, and an unknown period of being a literal pet to an asshole beyond comprehension. All within 30 pages. Then NR finds out. If you'll excuse me... Spoiler for ahem:

Nah I doubt it. Like I said before, this special echoes the first chapter thematically. For the most those met their fate same reason Tatsumi also did, due to the unawareness of dangers the current captial harbors.

i have to love the sark tone of this manga, are very few the mangas nowadays that manage such crualty in a interesting story, like many works of yesteryear, specially the crudeness resmebles go nagai's works, that can border on unnecessary depictions violence and abuse.

some of you had to be curious about this as me and i am rather bored, SO..... what are the chances that Esdese will forgive Tatsumi after she finds out the truth?
maybe Tatsumi fights Esdese while in armor and gets beaten down really badly by her and before the final blow he looses consciousnesses and his armor releases and she sees who she was trying to kill so passionately? Think Esdese will claim him as her prize for her victory over him and he wakes up in her room while she is doing her business with him or will he wake up chained up in the torture chambers of the palace? or not wake up at all? nothing better to do right? lets talk about this for a little bit while we wait for chap 30 to come out! |

im not sure, is very likely its that getting to the decisive battle esdese will just perish, but giving her life philosophy, is she is utterly defeated by tatsumi, she could pretty much become her slave/woman over his command, and i say tatsumi because i dont see her figthing against any other of nightraid and both ending alive.
