Great episode, shame it will be overshadowed by Haruhi's sudden appearance, but this episode is quite good, so I'm sure people will still love it.

Or you could watch both which is what I'm doing. Dropping a series because it was relegated to secondary status is just stupid.

I'm a chuffed that I get to see my Asahina-swan again but K-On is still rding high for me.

This ep was good, altho it didn't have anything that made me light up like previous eps all had something to go "Ohh thats just super cute!"

well maybe Azunyan could have fitted that role but there wasn't enough of her but she is here now so I expect some great stuff to happen later

I mean....even if Haruhi's episode was pretty damn epic....this episode was also damn awesome with the concert and Azusa, K-ON remains one of my favs this season

Heh, in my case, Haruhi would actually be secondary to K-ON!. Even so I agree with the basic idea that one need not drop X in order to watch Y. My plan is to continue with K-ON! and at least try out the first episode of Haruhi Season 2.

Haruhi isn't even on my priority list. I mean I'm a fan and I really liked the first season, but I'm not a rabid fan like the entire internet. Haruhi comes secondary to Cross Game, Eden of the East and K-on.

XD I was blown away by this episode .. specially on the live concert part ^^ I loved how Mio saved Yui from the vocals part .. and when they sang together it was like heaven on earth ^___^

some highlights for me
- Yui x Ui sister love
- Kagami = Mio scene XD sabishii ^___^
- animal cosplay .. wahehe damn weird but pure fun XD
- live concert part !! ^^

The maid uniforms didn't worked for me though XD But loved it anyway

I felt the part wherein Ui introduces the K-ON members was just a lousy filler ^w^ .. shoganai kedo .. I guess it's ok. I guess it shows reality that not all people are interested in the type of music K-ON bu plays ("the other side of the coin") However this is counter balanced with Azusa ^w^ Gotta love that Miku-like twin tails.

Why does it matter if it get's overshadowed by Haruhi? Not much of a fan of K-On! and Haruhi but I don't see why it's a problem if something else is more popular.

octoberasian Baka Gaijin :P IT Support Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ceridia Age: 43	Spoiler: Having seen the raw, I have to admit that Yui has certainly improved yet she's still a ditz overall. Her sister, Ui, seems to be the "older" of the two on how she dotes on her almost all the time. The animal costumes was odd but funny to watch. I'm glad they showed an actual concert though a few parts got cut out. It's interesting how Mio and Yui would be talking to each other during the concert without actually talking stating when to start singing or not. Good to see Mio slowly overcoming her shyness, but having to start to sing over Yui who forgot to sing at first was funny. In the end though, hearing Yui and Mio together actually... fits. Just fits. It's great to see how the band has gone this far already within a year, especially since Yui started anew with no idea how to play a guitar herself. The band has really come around. Nice to see a new member and I do wonder how the next episodes will be now that she appears.

Spoiler: I'm sad that Azusa never glorifies the K-ON club, especially Yui since both are guitarist. Well given the impression that she never witness last year's festival and her new makeover, it was sadly axed out among other things Anime Azusa seems more introverted and reserved compared to her manga counterpart, who is rather talkative. Either way Azusa will be in for a culture shock when she witness how the club she joined in 'high regards' operates on a daily basis.
