I've completed translating and post-translate fixing of Chapter 11 (151 pages in total) to Chinese.
My friend sent the translated Chapter 9 to me just now, it seems I can complete the whole volume in a week.

Because of the existance of translated Web novel, we can translate the books much faster than before (volume 9 and 10).
Currently one of my friends is translating the Web version of Concerto, which can get used in future Progressive translation.

So SAOP2 will most likely be coming out this December in place of vol14. That meant Kawahara only released 2 volumes of the main series this year.
The story though covered quite a lot of ground. With this pace, how many volumes will web chapter 8 be covered? Any guesses from those who actually read the web version?

If the pairing is Eugeo and Alice, then it should be Alice who got NTR-ed...assuming the Synthesis Knight Alice still has feelings for Eugeo. Otherwise it's just a regular cheating scene.

He probably loves her enough to hate himself, after seeing how Kirito is stronger than him in so many ways, and often thinking back to his younger days.

I dunno. If all the fight scenes are left in...that's easily three or four volumes; I'm inclined to think that Kawahara would slim down that bit.

Compared to WEB, this time Eugeo failed because he considered what might happen if Alice rejected him after she was back to her usual self. (WEB version had Eugeo considered if Alice might pick Kirito over him instead when she's back, but didn't care as long as the old Alice is back). Eugeo had a high chance of 'done it' with Administrator, and in exchange he got gifted the Incarnation Ability - he telekinetically took back Blue Rose from Kirito when Kirito refused to give the sword back to the brainwashed Eugeo. Not even Alice or Berculi was given the Incarnation ability by Administrator. Admin must be 100% sure Eugeo wouldn't betray her... Kirito vs Eugeo, next time in Alicization; I'm getting Star Wars vibes here, when Obiwan fought Anakin. Kirito even went as far as saying "As the teacher, I can't lose to my student" O_o RKL says he'll put up a analysis elsewhere about Eugeo's characterization between WEB and LN version, so hopefully he'll repost it here on AS. Also, RKL thanked the people on AS and BakaTsuki for their help in translation, such as Tap and Tusjecht.
