she did play the 12 string guitar, and owned an awesome Gibson SG. Which she switched to The Gibson Flying V, made popular by Jimi Hendrix
She did have the 12 string? OH MAI GAWD.
But actually, i liked Yui's guitar more.

Let's see...
- Get a plane ticket to Tokyo.
- The event itself is the Canime Summer Festival 2012, held on the 11th (Sat) and 12th (Sun) of August (event times are 1200-2000 and 1000-1800 respectively).
- The event is held on the 2nd floor of the Belle Salle (Sumitomo Shibuya First Tower) Tower in Akihabara.
- It should be noted the vinyls don't have any instrumental versions of the songs, or the "Let's Go!" songs.
- Have 10 000(?) yen ready.
- You'll be competing with all the other local otakus fans that want this as well, so good luck!

In My opinion they mainly sound like a 60-70's Pop Rock band with a hint of 80's rock, with 60 type lyrics and that hard rock 70's sound, especially with that organ. Death Devil obviously sounds like an 80's metal band, or 70's hard rock (e.g. Van Halen's 'Hot for Teacher'), So do you guys know any bands that have a similar sound to Houkago Tea Time, modern or not?
I put HTT firmly in the late 80s with bands like the Bangles, Bananarama, and the Go-go's (pop rock girl bands) coupled with a huge nod at the Beatles prior to the White Album. Sawako's sound is late 70s/early80s metal (Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden).
All retuned for Japanese musical sensibilities (which tend to be pretty free-form in incorporating disparate elements).
Seeing as there have been quite a few people asking where certain songs are on an album, it's probably time for one last roll call for the music of K-On!...
Current status: (22 Dec 2012) Added preliminary info on the second vinyl box, and the music history box.
(21 Oct 2012) It's been announced that the vinyl box will now be given a general release for a limited run, releasing December 19 2012.
(29 Aug 2012) Just some minor cleaning up and added a bit more info about vocals to the list.
(25 Jul 2012) The list should be complete now- feel free to let me know if I've missed something or provide some feedback on this list itself. I wonder if someone knows the exact release date of the special Watashi no Koi wa Hotchkiss CD?

Click on the thumbnails to view the full-size image (for albums with two covers, left is standard edition, right is limited edition- though due to a formatting error, it's probably top and bottom respectively).
Hover over the album name to see the Japanese name of the album (dashed underline).
Song names are in their original Japanese. Romaji and other song-specific notes are shown next to the song names in italics and brackets.
Personal names listed are in Western-style name order (First name then surname).
Due to the 50k character limit, the CD tracklists of the band scores (sheet music) aren't viewable here- you can find them in the provided link, which will take you to Pony Canyon's website.

I came across some "bass guitar" lessons on youtube given by Tomo of Scandal accompanied with Soyoka of Bye Bye Boy and noticed Soyoka plays left-handed 5 string bass ... she's also quite shy so I just thought the parallel was amusing.
Unfortunately, no. I got it mostly for collecting purposes. I felt I should complete the K-On music collection with this since I already own all of the CDs. That doesn't mean I can't ever listen to it, however...
