Was there a new OP/ED?
EDIT: Sorry. Checked out another thread, and the official site, and I have discovered that there will not be a new OP/ED until episode 42. But the opening will be by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION!!! And the ED by some band I don't know of. |

Winry's quote re Sloth is as follows:
Spoiler:
No/to being just a linking word, she really does just say... Spoiler:
Keep in mind that Winry has not met Sloth until this point, or even seen her as Juliet Douglas. This is as I understood it, but I don't claim to have the best grasp on Japanese. If I am wrong, I'm sure Yebyosh or someone will correct me. |

Ed and Al have thought about it... after they bumped into Envy and Sloth while chasing Wrath, Al starts "Brother, that woman..." before Ed cuts him off, and on the way to Dante's house, Al starts talking "I've been thinking; about mom..." before Ed cuts him short.

ps. We know Lust doesn't really remember her previous life, just some flashes of Scars brother from before she died / when he performed human transmutation, so it's possible no Homunculi have past memories. The big bad (whoever it may be) & the other sins could have told Sloth any old story about how she was created. Winry mentioning it obviously surprised her tho- the question is, who will she talk to now; Winry, Ed/Al, or the other sins/big bad?
Spoiler:
Can someone translate what Sloth and Envy were talking about on the phone please? Last edited by Rattus; 2004-07-09 at 05:21. |

This episode kept me on the edge of my seat. It was full of high tension.
Because the girls went to investigate deep into a thought-for-dead officer, and I thought that the Homunculi would might have to dispose of them. Spoiler:
What it seemed anti-climatic to me for this episode was the tiny detail involving Scieszka's use of the word alien after realizing before Winry about the Douglas explanation at her place. That seemed to have broken up the suspicious mood, and the mysterious atmosphere that brewed during that particular scene. Good riddance that Winry knows nothing about disguising or else she would have died; her presence did not passed unnoticed by a certain female officer. Last edited by Guido; 2004-07-12 at 21:18.
