New Recruit Wants Anime Recommendations
Ok, i'm new to the whole off the mainstream anime thing and have been addicted to the whole Anime thing.
Before I could wait over six months without seeing any Anime, and I kept it that way to avoid addiction. But now I wanna see some more and would like some recommendations for a n00b. Here are the kinds of anime I want to see: - Off the mainstream Anime. Animes with titles I can't pronounce or titles only people on this forum would know about. Not even American TV aired shows like Inuyasha or Naruto. - Fantasy/SciFi Anime, basically any anime with either RPG-style journeys or mechs (or both if there is one). - Explain what the Anime is about with your reason for recommendation. - And MOST OF ALL hentai = NO! Nothing even with any scenes close to hentai or nudity, I MEAN THIS!!!! There's nothing that scares n00b fans of Anime away more than hentai. - I don't care if it's violent. I've got a strong stomach. So, worsen my -er I mean help my addiction by giving me some recommendations. Please. |

Hunter X Hunter is one that I would recommend, mainly because it's my favorite action/adventure series and it's unknown to the US market since it hasn't been licensed yet.
Story is mainly about a young boy in search of his father, who is a proffesional Hunter. In order to find clues about him, he decides to become one himself, and there's where his journey starts. Hunters are not what you're thinking off, they are not people that go get their shotgun and go hunt bears or some shit. They are specialized people that take on missions, like bodyguards, hunt down murders, etc.
