Nike couldn't force teams to change designs if they didn't want to; only make suggestions. Those who were expecting big jersey changes were in for disappointment from the get-go. They changed the material to where they are more comfortable.

Except for the bulge part.......eh never knew Nike was gonna go below the belt. To kinky from inspirational and Dilla you would cry over this.

I wasn't expecting huge changes, just more noticable ones I guess.

Wait until next year. I think they'll implement more obvious changes next year after people get used to the swoosh in the NFL.

Audio sample of Greg Williams "plan" for his players against the 49ers emerges. He may have coached his last game ever. The hilarious thing about this is that the plan didn't succeed in the slightest:

I wonder uf Nike will make NFL Pro Combat jerseys that would be pretty nice.

Watching the 49er Saints playoff game you would think San Fran had the bounties on NO

Schedules came out yesterday. It's going to be tough sledding for the Ravens.

I expect da Bears to make the playoffs (at least). Naturally, as we all know, a playoff spot isn't a given thing.

49ers against Packers is our first game. Not looking forward to it. Smith and the offense are going to have to at least move to the level of "decent" this year. Can't expect our defense to bail us out all the time.

Yeah. Who's stupid idea was it to put the two games against the Steelers only two weeks apart? Only easy games on the schedule look to be the Browns x2 and Chiefs. A few that might be medium levels of challenging, but mostly tough.

Once again, the Eagles are shopping Samuel. I'm thinking they are trying to trade up with it.

Oh, see it as a good chance to dispose of the Packers early.

I don't get it. Worst still, the trip to San Diego is sandwiched between those hyper-physical games against the Steelers.

As of right now, I'd agree. But depending on what the Browns do in the draft and the talent the Chiefs have at most positions, I could see those games being difficult too.

Wow. Just as the Saints were the innocent darling of the NFL (before BountyGate) -- after suffering years and years of bottom of the pit mediocrity mixed with Katrina.

Oh the shame.

Now, gotta tack on "Spygate" on top.

I haven't actually seen any proof of this having occurred as of yet. Honestly, I kind of hope it's false so the Saints can sue the ever living shit out of ESPN for libel and slander.

Most ppl still want to see proof about Bountygate but this stuff is coming from U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana through ESPN and its going to the FBI right now. This is a Federal crime and in LA, SOL is still in effect right now.

Well Brian Dawkins retired. Man it really tore me up when he left my Eagles, probably my all-time favorite defensive player. I'm glad I at least got see him play live at least once before he retired.

He was a vicious hitter, an extremely intelligent field general, and on top of that one of the nicest and most genuine gentlemen ever to grace the sport. Enjoy your retirement, Dawk... you earned it.
