The spelling problem arises from how the Japanese translate English names.

The romaji for Leivinia's surname is Baadowei.

Now, Japanese-fluent US speakers will naturally translate it as Bardway.
But, if you look at the BRITISH ENGLISH pronounciation of Birdway VERY closely, "Bird" pretty much sounds the same way as the American "bard".

Imagine Harry Potter saying the word "bird" aloud. Get it now?

I would like it if these "magitech" guys where a passing stage of the series and whatnot, but considering that they got two volumes of foreshadowing it's likely that they are going to chunk a good amount of attention. Let's least hope that they provide comedy value where it should.

Nay nay, that's not what I meant- I'm okay with villains using both Technology and Magic; What I'm saying is that I'm unhappy how magic spells seem to be cutting into the role of Science I mean, [atmospheric pressure countermeasure spell] seriously? Why would there be a spell to countermeasure Atmospheric pressure?!

My point In essence- to retain the uniqueness of this series, science techniques should stay as science, while magic techniques should remain as magic.

It's really because we have a reliable/constant translator while other series... Don't

Plus we still got the momentum from the Anime even if it ended 4-5 months ago, it's significant imo.

I would imagine even if OreImo, Durarara, or BakaTest gets this boost in translation power, they might not generate the same amount of viewship. The only series I can think of that would possibly produce the same result might be IS, but I'm not placing much faith in it.
