Questions, Need Help

Are there any sites that say how many total volumes a manga has?

I want to start a couple new series, but money-wise, I have to make sure that it is not going to be some 30+ volume series.

Thanks for the help.

PRISMS: The Ultimate Manga guide has information on some titles. Manga Jouhou has information on some titles. Some manga publishers may also give this information.

Their manga section is pretty pathetic, unfortunately, and not particularly informative.

Anime on Dvd's graphic novel comparison chart will tell you how many volumes released in the U.S. vs Japan, and whether it is still going or not, along with other details.
