My thoughts exactly. There are no guarantees of course, but I fully expect Nibutani to revert to her original look within an episode or two. Isshiki, too.

It's a classic sitcom set up, and Ishihara has a real keen sense of comedic timing.

Too bad we're not talking about "sitcoms" here.

KyoAni has the license to change the content of the anime, right?

And since they took a lot of... artistic license with Chuuni-1, they added a lot of characters (like Deko and Touka).

And now, in the LN there's supposed to be a girl that looks just like Shinka v-2.0

Kyoani may have merged both characters. if they did, Shinka just became a mix of characters.

It's just a sketch, in the anime she looks better. Although, I can understand why some people don't like how they changed her appearance.

It's not that bad.

She looks a lot more serieus now. But it's comedy so, I think she will revert back to her original look.

I think the "Marimite persona" is part of Nibutani's chuunibyou. It's just that this persona does not involve rending reality, breaking synapses, or making this world vanish.

As the PV did show Kazari at timer 1:15 (purple haired girl sitting on chair before Rikka), the speculation that new Nibutani is a fusion character seems to be debunked. It seems Kazari even appeared in season 1, though as an unnamed background character.

I want to see exactly how long Shinka keeps the new image/attitude up. The longer she does, the more impressed/surprised I'll be.

Not that I mind it all that much. (Minus the longer skirt. That thing needs to go asap.) I'm actually more interested in Deko's changes and how she's going to be dealing with her new role and all that.

Ugh, I'm looking forward to this new season so badly that it hurts! Can't wait. *bounces around*

Didn't Dekomori said something about "love death!" in her first day of school speech, and got a rubberband-propelled bullet shot at her by Nibutani in the PV? I don't think Dekomori changed at all.
