Sheryl isn't going to wait for Ranka to make her move. Love doesn't work that way, and it shouldn't work that way. Both of them have to vie for Alto's attention, and there is no orderly line you're suppose to wait in. Episodes 11 and 12 aren't comparable anyway. Those that think they are, need a reality slap. On with the SDF-1!!

It's odd, cuz the orginal (SDF-1) Macross was in Macross Plus, which takes place just 19 yrs before Frontier. My hunch is that that Macross came from Megaroad 01, which has a battle section that closely resembles SDF-1 and a separate city section. It probably got into some battle in Galia 4 and left behind the battle section to fend off the enemy allowing the rest of Megaroad to flee further into space. The protoculture thing which reacts to Ranka (which may not be related to what was in Mac Zero) may have reacted the same way to Minmay many many years before.
Another possibility though more farfetched is that the bird thing (Aphos?) from Mac Zero took the SDF-1 with it when it flew off. Then it landed in Galia 4. Possible, but not likely. |

So as everyone suspected, Grace fed Sheryl the pills to make her sick and Michel noticed the 639 Witch Craft moniker on the "medicine" that Grace was trying to get Sheryl to take. Good thing she tossed it away when Grace wasn't looking. And if that weren't enough pain for Sheryl:
Grace as she is activating the device: The death of the Galactic Fairy and the annihilation of the vanguard. The hatred will grow like an inferno. And of course Alto: That's why, please save Ranka! Sheryl after her brief look of pain: Understood. We'll do it somehow. Stop him even it costs you your life. (referring to Purple 1) Last edited by ickem; 2008-07-03 at 13:19. |

That would mean the preview in ep12 was misleading. You can hear them say, "First generation Macross" in it. Which is odd, because other than the SDF-1, no ship fits that description as well. If it had left Earth early, it should be one of the older non-transformable Megaroad vessels. If it was later, it would be a New Macross-class ship. Is there any explaination of why it's called a "first generation Macross"?
I'm aware that it could be a custom-built, but how would that fit the description of being a "first generation"? From the picture, Ranka's mom is probably the hybrid. Does it look like she could be one of Max and Milia's daugthers? Next observation, Brera himself isn't in the picture, but he could be behind the camera. Haven't they heard of timers? |
