The attack is called Greatest horn, so it's probably different from the Great horn we're familiar with.

But, if we go by its name "Greatest Horn", doesn't it indicate that it's more powerful than Great Horn? So, if Great Horn can obliterate enemies in an instant, how come Greatest Horn only sent enemies flying? That's a question for future episodes, btw

. I know that nobody can answer it now since we still don't know the exact technique or how serious Taurus throw his Greatest Horn at our MCs.

So i guess we won't see the actual new opening (the footage and everything) until episode 29.

The new OP most likely features the new Gold saint, so they want to introduce them in the show first. That or they simply haven't finished making the new OP.

I loved this episode! It gives the series some much needed unpredictability. I just hope that Aria stays dead.

Overall i find this series to be OK, but it doesn't compare to Lost Canvas. I hope it continues on improving.

I don’t think drama & sentimentalism is really that far apart from the original SS. Just look at Asgard Arc, Hades Sanctuary Arc, and some episodes of 12 Temples/Houses and Black Saints.

I think LC doing it just fine since they have to explore many characters who only there and become pseudo-MC for a short period of time. Since each character has to provide a certain level of drama, it resulted in LC feels too sappy, which, in actuality, is not exactly right. Their character exploration makes us care about them and that’s really important given that we’re often stuck with each of them being the MC of their own story/arc. Also, LC contains a good number of battles, thrills, battle strategy, and some light/cheerful moments which balance the drama. So I don’t think it “abused sentimentalism and drama”.

Poseidon can't be a (dead) woman when its explicit that the host can only be a male from the Solo family, Tenma having to fight against her mother intertwining that with Pandora's tragic life, Regulus not only doing AE but also ZC, etc. Thats too far even for Kurumada's standards.

Oh well, I stop it here, I'm more interested on what is going to happen in today's episode, I hope isn't a recap and will feature the new opening.

The new opening song is pretty cool and old school, i wasn't expecting that when i saw the band.

Anyway, a pretty smart recap, since most of the scenes were taken from Umakoshi's episodes...and that short new scene with Seiya and Saori at the beginning looked very pretty.

Spoiler: Aria finally grows a spine, somehow manages to summon a staff that is similar to Athena's (though ridiculously cheaper looking), and somehow manages to upset Mars. And then dies. I thought I'd be more upset at her death, but I didn't even blink. I just couldn't wait for that scene to be over with, honestly. I will give credit to Kouga though, his VA made him sound convincingly desperate. But I'm finding myself falling out of love with this series more after each episode. Here's some of what bothers me: Kouga's "dark cosmos" is just... meh. Why is it it turns him into a berserker? If "dark cosmos" is his true element, then he should have been able to control it with ease. The problem with SSO is that it's so full of cliches it's ridiculous. And I still haven't forgiven them for the atrocity that is the Sagittarius cloth. I'm not even a purist, I welcome using elements in addition to cosmos, up until Haruto, who really should have been named Naruto. At least, stay with the laws of the SS universe. I have a far healthier respect for Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, and they totally messed that up towards the end of the manga.
