I wonder if we'll get character songs for this?

Just started listening to this soundtrack, and the first thought that came to me was that this would make for an awesome MegaMan Battle Network soundtrack.

It's a nice soundtrack. I don't know the composers too well, but I think if they are the same as the ones for Little Busters!, that style might have worked better for some of the more upbeat songs. The solemn songs and the simplistic piano/orgel music are great.

Come to think of it, do Key adaptations normally get character songs? I don't recall anything from Clannad but I never really checked (chara songs usually don't interest me). I wouldn't mind listening to them out of curiosity if they come out but something tells me that's not going to happen.

They kind of do. At least Clannad did-ish, they vocalised the characters' themes. However no, they do not get "character songs", as such. And they won't either, I mean come on, you already have 2 tracks named Otonashi and Kanade, and both are instrumental.

I think Little Busters has a few character songs, but I'm not certain about how many there are, and that's from LB as a game and not an adaptation anyway.

Getting "Answer Song" in tab form for the guitar is really difficult.

=( the only confusing part is that its not available at my country yet what I got is a 1dvd of anime and 1 cd OST which include OP/ED song only

Is there a complete guitar tab for Shine Days?

I would also ask for a guitar tab for 23:50, but given its obscure nature, I kind of doubt it would ever be tabbed any time soon. =/

Oh and AFAIK, there are no leitmotifs for any of the characters save Otonashi, Kanade, and the actual SSS Theme itself (Girl's Hop, to an extent, can be accepted as Yui's leitmotif), at least on a similar scale where previous KEY works associated certain pieces as a select character's theme (i.e. Mai - A Girl's Prison, Fuko - Hurry Starfish, Kud - Exotic Toybox).

I bought the band score in Japan, which has the tabs + vocals for both, but it's going to be a pain to scan all 270 pages of it. :P
