this was not a virtual reality game. It was kinda like wow or ragnarok where you look at the monitor so there was no need for things like it.

Elder Tale was not, Log Horizon is (or it is a magical/alien alteration of real world). They eat and feel taste - so all the rest of physical activities - toilet, bath or sex - is implied to be possible/required (maybe even with ability to procreate)... So, is there any protection from this Fridge Horror?

Log Horizon probably has the same protection in the real world in the same tech/social level. There would be laws against it, the more reputable guilds would fight against it, since they are the ones with a lot of the power. You basically need values, laws and force to prevent that sort of fridge horror.

Elder Tale probably has the same sort of protections modern games have, filters and GM's to ban people who don't behave.

Not game wise, players might decide to protect people but the rules and system of the game was not set up for a virtual reality interface so it didn't need rules like that.

There are no protection from stopping the players act however they want.
Because when it was a game, there was no need to. The game was not designed with reality in mind.

So obviously they have to find a different way to enforce law and bring order.
Don't worry, that will all be covered, and it will all make sense.

Pretty much anyone who's anyone in the server of Yamato knows the name of Shiroe, the scheming foureyes.
Crusty is familiar with Shiroe, just like most guild masters. The two gets along well, they are both very logical minds.

Kanami also shows up with the silhouette of the debauchery tea party. I only recognize Nyanta, Soujirou, Naotsugu, Kanami, Nazuna and Shiroe. There are 4 unknowns and even if the names are given. I still don't know them. 1 mage? 1 has long braided girl with skirt. Another one who has ponytail that looks like girl but has huge sword. And finally someone who has big backpack and a spear. Who are they?
Most of those aren't characters that have shown up yet. Although the wiki database do list them.

That really sucks for Serara or anyone else that doesn't have plot armor, as well as People of the Land. As Brigandia is the ruling guild in Susukino, don't they have their hands free to do as they please? Can a player at least commit suicide by willing it? (doesn't help if she is given sleeping drug before the rape, though).

I would guess there would be a way to commit suicide, which would be attack the players going after you summoning the guard and have both of you wiped out (kinda crude though)

Also what exactly are the people of the land? are they just NPCs can can say a few lines each time you talk to them or are they conscious beings without impulses (that is to say they dont do anything that they werent assigned to do at the beginning of the game, but other then that they look and act like normal players)

Earthlings are fully conscious and sentient humans, yes.
But weaker, non-immortal, normal people.

They are real.

They act their own way, think their own way, has feelings or emotions. They are as good as real people but the only different
Is if they die. They are dead permanently.

They are also weak. As weak as normal people.

Can they train themselves to be stronger? They may not be immortal like the adventurers are, but they can learn can't they?

I don't know if they can level up but they had low level and the highest which are the guards are still low level compare to the adventurers. They are also different because they are like normal people. Any normal person won't venture into dangerous places. They don't have additional skills aside from what they are originally. Like a farmer, royalty or merchant.

The royal guards are different. The hero NPC or hero class are also different. They are design to be unbeatable by the adventurers.

There was an NPC and hero unit turn party member of Kanami.

Earthlings can level, but they only get to like 30~40.

Ancients are different story though.

Ancients are hero NPCs that shows up in major quest chains.
They are more powerful than players.
Think: Thrall in WoW

The 13 Knight Orders are composed of Ancients, and each order protects a server.

City guards are run by a special race of Earthlings shrouded in mystery, called the Kunie clan.
The current storyline in the novels involves them.

if i remember well , Ancients are more powerful but they have kind of curses that makes them a little nerfed. Like there was one not able to bring the enemy under 25%

People can commit suicide in towns, yes, but what's the point? In this world where dead Adventurers end up resurrected in the Grand Cathedral, all suicide does is only to throw the person back to the heart of the city.

Death in this world, for the Adventurers in any case, offers no cheap escape to the troubles of life.

Ancients are like Excalibur in the Fate universe (as I understand it), in the sense that they came to be because the people prayed for salvation and their prayers were answered with heroes

Just in case anyone is wondering, "Why so troublesome?", imagine a game where the NPCs are capable of dealing with every problems from start to end, leaving you the player, and supposed protagonist, with nothing to do. That's not fun at all, isn't it?

No, I mean, it's a powerful hero NPC that appears in major questlines.
That's exactly what guys like Thrall and King Varian are in WoW.

Are the guild leaders that Shiroe will gather are guilds in Akiba only? because it looks like Susukino won't be saved or at least the guild leader there didn't appear or didn't care or he will just get decimated if he enters anywhere near Akiba.

Yes to the question, since it only concerns the city of Akiba
But it's not unrelated to Susukino's condition, in fact, what happens early on at the Round Table directly affects Susukino's future later on.

Oh, and Mamare just tweeted!
Looks like novel 8 is going to focus on the noobs/scrubs again.
With Isuzu as one of the central focus. Woot! She needs more spotlight.

Nice, hope Mamare could touch on more on her relationship with Rundie .
