I probably have a very huge bias here, but I absolutely fell for Resolution from Gundam X after having that song be my BGM while I destroy the defensive satellite system from Nadesico.

While playing ACE3. XD
Oh, Daybreak's Bell comes a far second, then Segment 3 from CCA close behind.

Nobody said anything about Two-Mix?

If Gundam Wing had any additional redeeming qualities, it was Two-Mix. I know I had a craze about 2mix when I first heard their gig. I don't anymore, and I know there are lots of better stuff out there, but at that time, it was Two-Mix.

Then, getting back on the better stuff. I absolutely loved London Symphonic Orchestra's gig on Gundam Seed and Destiny. Those were great.

Even though I haven't seen it yet, I'm really digging the Zeta Gundam: A New Translation's soundtracks. The music is completely different from the TV show version, it seems. But yeah... some really beautiful music. My favorite is probably "Psycho Wave"... seems to be the big battle music.

You inadvertently dissed Kou Otani.

That OST was nigh legendary. Some people thought it was corny, but that was its charm. Also, Heero's theme is probably THE most memorable character theme of anyone in Gundam canon.

is that the one titled: when dragon swims, everything ends" or something like that? If it is, thats one of my fave BG tracks. next to air plant from turn a, shutsugeki impulse from destiny. There's more but those are my faves at the moment.

wana/daybreak's bell are freakin awesome too. cant wait for the OST to get some of the BG tracks from there as well.

I like High and Mighty Color's Enrai ~tooku Ni Aru Akari~. The third ending of Gundam SEED Destiny Special Edition. I've been listening to it for the whole year and still haven't been bored.

GW's music was awesome in that a lot of it was modifyable and didn't suck. I do think GW stuff like Two-Mix was like...holy crap good at the time.

GS/GSD though pretty much made remixing a no need. While it's not as trance like and ravey and stuff, I think this really peaked off here OVERALL of all Gundam series. Fact is, other than more appealing to fangirls art from GS/GSD, the music was pretty much a huge focus since like, other than recycled combat, it was really nothing but UC 2.0

00 stuff so far has pretty cool background, but it's not like I MUST HAVE IT, and the opening is...well divided. It's not a bad song, but I dunno, it doesn't have the spark of GS/GW so far. I'm not dying to DL some catchy tunes like I was the other two so far. Music is a big thing in gundam T_T and hell, ANY anime. Look at how naruto fell!

Resolution was the first bit of Gundam music I had ever heard outside of Wing, and I loved it, so you're not alone.

As far as most Gundam music is concerned, I seem to have a taste for the corny/bad. I've always gotten a sadistic kick out of torturing my non-otaku friends with Ai Senshi from the original series. Fly, Gundam and Anime Ja Nai also work in that regard. I also like the G Gundam's Song of Winners (Shourisha-tachi no Banka). It's dumb as hell, I know, but it's the best action theme I know of that can make a serious action scene completely goofy.

Also, while I generally don't care a whole lot for the Seed shows, I really like the symphonic themes, and a lot of their opening/closing themes are really good, too.

I kinda like "Human Touch" from Gundam X as well. I dunno, but I guess I'm such an incurable, hopeless romantic. anyway, anyone knows who sang that song?
