Does Tabane really show up at IS Academy(with Houki's personal unit), or is the anime already heading into an anime-only ending......?

She shows up in the story with Houki's personal IS in the novel too, but not in the academy.

personally, the kanji 矢 (Arrow) instead of 夜 (Night) would have had more meaning, but who am I to criticize the author

Unfortunately the one with the complex is Ichika. prior to episode 8 of the anime (Sorry for introducing this to the LN-Manga discussion), I always thought that Ichika simply had his whole pride based on being Chifuyu's little brother, biut now it's clear for me that it is something else (not that he can be blamed, given his upbringing) A classical Oedipus complex, but directed to the person who replaced his mother. If Chifuyu is aware of this (which she probably does, being as sharp as she is), her challenge to the girls makes a lot more sense. Perhaps a little part of her wishes for Ichika to get over his complex, by being "snatched" away by a girl "strong enough" for that task, despite the conversation she had with Maya afterwards

Could someone please clarify just exactly how Tatenashi enters the series? I know she appears at the beginning of volume 5 but I cant find a summary or translation anywhere.

I think she shows up somewhere in volume 3. As for how, you'd best ask kuroshinigami.

How Tatenashi enter the series? She suddenly covers Ichika's eyes from behind while asking "Guess who?". Of course Ichika gets confused who that beautiful onee-chan is when they first met, but several days later, she makes a speech as the student council president in front of everyone for the school festival so Ichika finds out who she is.

I really hope not....it will break the whole point about "Being strong means being able to protect those you care". And if those happen, I hope it is Houki or Rin.

Seeing that the latest novel doesn't even mention that yet... I'd say no.
His harem has only been GROWING as of late...

We might soon have Chifuyu's test tube clone jump on the ship as well...
