Are there any specific spells for surviving low-atmosphere flight, reducing G-Force, black-out prevention, etc? Are they part of the package for Flight? Or are they managed by Barrier Jackets?

I know of none, so I presume most basic protection is included in the flight spells themselves (there are several). Barrier Jackets probably contribute as well, at least to amortize the sharp turns and blows.

From what I gather, the mage simply releases their mana in a certain direction and wishes it to become whatever other form of energy (electricity, heat) they are affine to. When Fate cast her first thunderclap in TOS SS02, it sounded very much like an effort of pure power and will. I assume that spells can be used to further increase the accuracy of application...

What kind of Flight spells are there, and what are their differences (beside the names of the user)?

Nanoha's Flier Fin, Fate's Sonic Sail, and Eins/Hayate's Sleipnir are the one that come to mind. There must be more but I don't think they are named... As for their differences, I don't think that's ever elaborated in canon...

Additionally, some flight abilities seem to combine levitation with other effects, such as Tre's Ride Impulse, which doubles as both wings and blades.

What does Nanoha means when she said to Subaru,

Quote:
"To beat an opponent stronger than you, you must not be weaker than your opponent"
I have my own understanding about it, I just want to confirm if I am correct

To beat an enemy who's over-all more powerful than you are, fight them where they are their weakest.

A great example is Hayate, strongest mage in the series.

Caro could beat her if she got close enough.

My opinion for my own question,
Quote:
"To beat an opponent stronger than you, you must not be weaker than your opponent"
is

Quote:
"To beat your opponent who is stronger than you, you must fight where he/she is strong at and to defeat an opponent who is weaker than you, you must not take advantage of his/her weakness"

Doubly so since the manga chapter ITSELF SPELLS OUT what the saying meant.

The SBers came up with a point I thought worth noting: How did Jail get Quint's DNA for Nove, anyway?

From the files left by whoever made the Type Zeroes, perhaps? Speaking of which, were all Numbers cloned from an actual person? I was under the impression that some were natural-born children augmented with cybernetics.

Uno - Cloned from Jail
Due - Cloned
Tre - Cloned
Quattro - Cloned
Cinque - Cloned
Sette - Cloned
Nove - Cloned

Not sure about Sein off the top of my head, but the rest were natural born.
