2 years at evening class, then official at university. 4 years of Bachelor, full Jap degree equal to JLPT N2, then 3 years of Master (only master thesis left), which equals to N1 when I get the degree.
Official education as a translator. Master courses were all Japanese translation classes.

Though everything for my native tongue: German.
My English is self-taught from the internet.

Tbh, I couldn't care less about that.
The thing is, I would have to set up an extra page with a password and distribute that pw to trusted people. But who can I trust? I would need to run a selection... etc, etc.
Way too much trouble and in the end, it would all be meaningless, since someone leaks it the next day anyway.
So I'm not even considering it.
I'll put it into my page when I feel like it. Period.

It's another good chapter. A good mixture of politics and SE--- I mean, quality time.

No, usually it's just 2 years, and the bachelor is usually just 3 years too, but there aren't enough Japanese classes to fill all credits, so I have to pick some random crap to get the remaining credits, which is a pain. In short, I'm running extra laps.

Sigh, these new waves of leechers are really obnoxious and so entitled. Maybe because manga scanlations and anime fansubs are so easy to get these days, while the LN translations remains scarce (understandable, LN is much longer and sometimes are harder to translate than manga and anime), that the leechers instantly demanded the same thing from LN translators?

I remember there was a time when manga scanlation groups have an understanding with each other that for every leecher asking for release date, they'll postpone their scanlation release by one day/week, even though they already finished doing the translation.

People, the translators are doing this for fun; constantly nagging him/her for more releases would make the translations feel like work instead of fun, and this would piss the translators off! Stop being such whiners, would you?
