Kurumi won with no problems and Taiga stomped her opponents as you would expect. Ringo could barely keep up with Natsumi let alone take down Hibiki. Maybe one day I'll stop stupidly picking against Idolm@ster characters.
Today is a good chance to start. Since Idolm@ster has been looking good I'm siding with Yayoi. Cure March won't be a pushover, though. Kokaji looked pretty good in preliminaries but she was in the same group as Kirame and Momoko. I don't think she's really as strong as she looked. Rin is decently strong so I have her winning. No real surprises in terms of winners. While, Yayoi wins as expected, she does it by a fair bit more than I thought she would. Rin looked fine in her match. Kokaji doesn't seem to be as stong as she looked in preliminaries. Finally, Yui has more trouble than I thought she would with Haruka. It was a solid win but I expected a much large margin of victory.
Ask me before and I would have said Hercule would win this match. Now I'm not so sure. However, it's not like Denpa Onna characters have really been lighting up the stage. I guess because of that I'll still side with Hercule. Kanna and Karen are midcarders of similar strength. I'm choosing Kanna because she shares a voice actress with Ryuuka in the third match. Tsumugi vs Ryuuka should really be a Round 3 match considering their strength. They come from the same preliminary group where Ryuuka tied Azusa for first and Tsumugi trailed by just a single vote. I suspect Azusa, Yui and Tsumugi sharing a preliminary match helped all three of them out. However, one strike against Ryuuka is the Saki fanbase might not want her in Round 2 because she'll split votes with Kuro. I'm going with Ryuuka winning here. Well one rematch is ON after yesterday's action, sadly putting those fine Grand Finalists from 2009 against the pneumatic winter wonder that is Yuu seems to be a bit unfair, at least in terms of competition. {The proverbial multi pound gorilla and all that}
