I gotta agree with you on the long hair thing. It's somewhat of a shame that she doesn't think like us and wanted to cut it right away, right?

As for the movie itself, can't say it was my favourite one from the bunch (that HAS to be the third up until now), but I guess I certainly enjoyed it more than the first two (which are also very good, don't get me wrong). I suppose the change in the mood AND the fantastic soundtrack contributed a lot to this verdict, though. Especially since ARIA is by far my favourite Kalafina track and the whole score had tiny bits of it scattered around most of the tracks. I loved it.

Now, as most of you, I certainly can't wait for the fifth movie. Controlling myself to not go read the novels and get spoiled @_@

Indeed. I kinda wish she kept the long hair since she looks more beautiful with long hair.

BTW, did anyone get any Yuri vibes between Touko and Shiki? Everytime she talks to Shiki (in serious & non-serious mode) i kinda felt it especially when Touko said, "Your just my type, cutie. Aren't I lucky?".

Kinda makes you look at her relationship with Shiki, Azaka and her sister, Aoko in whole new light.

They could be hints, though i don't think it's anything we need to start talking as if it's something huge. I mean just because she said what she said doesn't mean we should take her serious. Touko is that type of character to joke like that.

As for long haired Shiki, i like her with both short and long, though i'm much more used to her with short hair and it's what i'd rather see her with.

Not going to defend him or anything, though i hope you know at the moment the soundtracks are only being released with the limited edition DVD's. Just letting you know.

Yeah I know. But I have to say it because too many anime fans globally taking these things for granted. After all, the industry is not run on welfare, it needs profit to sustain.

And my KnK DVD is on the way to me. Expensive but as a TYPE-MOON fan, I am proud to have it.

OMFG, have I ever felt this excited waiting to watch an serie? I am like sitting here, watching my torrent. After reading the novel like 6 times over, I am still this excited. Yea it is ironic I am watching it now since it came out a long time ago(2 days), but I was busy, ok... I been waiting for how long? Half a year, I was about to pack my bags and go watch it in theater when it came out!!(I have a friend getting me the DVD too, the DVD is to show my appreciation. )

Edit: OMG I AM ABOUT TO COLLAPSE FROM SEIZURE DUE TO EXCITEMENT.

You know another difference in Tsukihime's Shiki and this one. His eyes see the lines and dots. Hers see people as always falling apart along the lines. Gah, that must be a ghastly vision of death ALL the time.

I'm getting the DVDs as well although I so wish they'd release this on Blu-Ray as well.

I was already and set to start buying the limited edition DVD's, though i said to myself that i'll wait for the Blu-Ray releases instead. They better appear eventually.

you know, kinda funny now that I think about it, the mystic eyes setting fits much more in KnK, with all its discussions of issues like perception and recognition, than it does in Tsukihime. Sort of odd that KnK came first. >_>

The way I explain the difference between them is simply that he was writing a different story at the time. Also, it feels more out of place in Tsukihime because he was reusing his old ideas in a different context.
