Sigh, I wish there was a way to increase skill slots -_- Having three at a time only deter me from experimenting... And it's not until I complete a campaign that I'll get more 'sets'.
Of course, even better still if they would bring back the addictive gun upgrade system from RE4/5 instead of this 'mod' system in revelations and 6. That's because everybody who likes it is currently playing it instead of going online to bother with them

One reason why he probably slimmed down a bit, but still he is still "that strong" if you see the gameplay footages. WTH?!!! YAKUZA CHRIS?!!! or Samurai?! They probably tried to got with the Stallone look as Barney, but ended up being a Yakuza. Spoiler for RE7 imho:
ARRRH! Leon the pirate With this Helena looks like a Jill cosplayer porn star.

Just finished the first chapter of each character and god I must say the Shortage of Ammo is really annoying to the point I understand why they give you infinite ammo from the start.
I mean I understand in the original games lack of ammo built suspense and made you conserve your ammo more sparingly, but that was back when the theme of the originals WERE survival horror, now with the theme changing to ACTION survival(?) horror it seems like a poor design choice, but perhaps I need to adjust. Also It's kinda annoying that you can die by sheer dumb luck or the "improved" health system, I died once in Chris's first chapter story due to being out of ammo and how quick you can go down now, and I died on Leon's stage 1 by being run over by a freaking training because I didn't get a button prompt to push against the wall even though I did previously, but the biggest offense was I died twice in Jakes stage 1 due to not having any ammo and I had my hands out before I could switch to my guns and take the ammo and shoot, and also due to how insanely quick the QTE was after that point. So far the game appears to be shaping up to be annoyingly frustrating....But I will press on.

Ammo was never a problem for me, I had more trouble finding healing items than stuff to kill things with. The trick is to mix things up with using guns, quick shot, and melee attacks so that no one resource is being overused and depleted. Quote:
At the same time it depends on the type of zombie... The mutated zombies are definitely alot harder to kill and hardly get stunned at all.

Speaking of Bio4, the new C-Virus does not have the wow factor as when the T-virus Zombies make the jump to las plaga that redefine our normal perception of zombies. So anyone think the current Capcom still had what it takes to change our outlook on zombies again ? I'm not asking them to repeat the gameplay leap from Bio3 to Bio4 here, just redefine the term zombie again. |

No, I'm saying the early Bio zombies used to be mindless rotting corpses who can only walked up and bite you. The plagas made a big jump by being able to communicate with each other, they can walk, run and climb like a normal person and they can wield weapons. But they are still technically mindless zombies. Saying that, when can we expect the next jump in zombie development from Capcom ?

Just got the game. Playing Leon's campaign, now a days horror relies on jump scares. which is easily countered by R1 button. Also too many QTE on zombies grabbing wtf?!

The QTE I can understand that they don't want people to be too familiar with the breaking free mechanic so they switch it up. As a general tip, try not to get grab so often

Me while playing: *grabbed by a zombie* *spinning left stick for one-minute* *dropped the controller and picks it up again* *press r1 on the blue line*
Thank you QTE for wasting all my health tabs The zombies that grabs you really eats up your hp quick even on full hp down to 3-2 hp.

Finished Leon's campaign, man that Simmons transformer just won't die. Also just finished Chris's campaign. Seems in 2010 when he recruited Piers he wanted to settle down till someone takes his place. No wonder he got amnesia his head was banged up up alot of times. Also played Agent Hunt, damn I love being a zombie! So fun to play as one as a Javo...meh, easily killed when in human form. Now starting Jake's campaign.

Speaking of skills... Given the super limited number we're allow to bring with us, which skills do you recommend getting first?
Personally, I feel that Increase Item Drop is the important especially in the beginning, plus it's cheap enough. ...In terms of offense though... I'm not sure which is better, pure firearm increase or zombie/javo damage?

I'd gone first for the Item Drop Increase, Melee and Breakout. Whenever facing Javo's I set the skill to Javo' attack increase instead of melee.
More on Chris. Seems even before when Chris left the Air Force in his backstory he had began drifting. He has this tendency whenever failing something big. Before it was Barry Burton that helped him back to the right track, now it's Piers Nivans. Wish they showed Jill/Claire or Leon to be in that Helicopter, but no Capcom either cut it or didn't do it. :/ Spoiler for Piers:
