Some quick thoughts on Episode 4 (fansub):

- Seems the animation took a bit of a hit in this Ep.. Might just be my eyes, but motion seemed a bit rigid in spots.

- I started to drift during this episode and found it somewhat boring (I did a bit of fast forwarding). Now, that's not to say that I don't like the show in totality...just that I would rate this episode low and easy to delete. It's probably because I'm growing tired of the whole "idol pageant" cliché that comes up often. Each character played their parts according to Hoyle and nothing unique or out of character popped up.

I await episode 5 mostly for the neko-mini-mode aspects.

I admit it was fun & cute, but not out of character for her. Not that it matters that much. This is a light hearted show to begin with and my picks at it are negligible. Plus, I projected my own expectations into the episode instead of just relaxing and enjoying the entertainment. I do like the show in totality from various angles.

Not to mention that bananas bring back some bad high school dating memories, so that might be part of it.

That end part sounded more like: "banana tte ba, na na" to me.

Do you mind if I ask where you got those lyrics from?
I wonder if i'm hearing it wrong.

*edit:
Mamoru sings it later in the show much more slowly, and he uses "de"
banji-kaiketu

*also, he yells into the well "I dont like it" rather than "i dont want to hear it"

I watched the first two episode show, it was good.. but only that I guess.. Mamoru was actually kinda cool, he had a personality! though the glases are a bit off-putting, and while the overall art style could use a touch up and some of the character designs were horrible ( That mob boss >.> ) it wasn't to bad.

The music is just.. I dont know how to describe it, but it is so typical at times that it makes you laugh

well I will watch some more of it, but these type of shows I dont usually stick with to the end.

Same here ^^ Yamame sure is Cute, the best character design out of all the girls (for now). Green hair can be nice and red eyes are nearly always Amazing, and together with a super moe~ ninja character, wearing a neko outfit its nearly unbeatable!

oh! I just watched the third episode, yep the music is still there

and it was alright, despite some of the horrible animated character faces at times and other things.

& wow! Yuna character is so simple minded it so Crazy its funny, I've lost count the amount of times she just falls over, Going to the extreme with Yuna makes watching her way better then nearly all of the similar characters like her.

Damn.. I couldn't quit laughing in episode 4.. And the looks on everyones faces as everyone made just as much of a spectacle as Yuuna did with her banana song. Swordsmanship and Caligraphy as a idol skill and threatening the host! Than the other girl the dance was good but for a second skill climbing into a bag and rolling around! Top it off with Yuuna and the banana song and you have one idol event people will be talking about for a looong time!

Episode 5 wasn't really interesting... :/ I dont really like Tsubaki at all, but! Yuna really did Save the day for me, Going hyper active after seeing Mamoru and Tsubaki and thinking of them as going on a date.. lol

and...

Going to sleep at night at 2:00 am in the morning in front of the school gate, and falling asleep in the Bathroom of some shop lol

How can you not love this girl?

Burumaru in episode 7 had the prefix "sendai(先代)[a genernation before]" and wearing a green scarf(Burumaru wears red scarf FYI), which means Burumaru present =/= the past one.

Still he's the winner no matter he is 1st gen or next gen.

course she does, its typical of a show like this isn't it?
I like Mamoru's character though. So often they make male leads completely pathetic, nice guys that is gets bloody annoying. Mamoru is totally badass while playing dumb and he seems to be getting his kicks from it. Its nice to see a male lead not being lead around by a leash for a change

Just want to say I'm enjoying this for the mindless fun it is. It is very refreshing to have a main character in a harem show who isn't an idiot/letch/pervert, well no more than the average school kid. And Yuna is ditzy but sweet, unlike most anime ditzes she doesn't annoy me (most have me wishing painful death on them).

It's not just you.

I think it's kind of obvious. My theory is that he knows but that he also knows he can't just reject her because that would make it awkward to follow Yuuna around. But it's been pretty obvious from the first episode when she was making up all the reasons why Mamoru couldn't be in a relationship with Yuuna.

I have to say that, just like Magikano, all the female characters in this crack me up. Even the fake imouto girl (which is a character type that I usually cannot stand) makes me laugh.

stevency To kill or be killed?! Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: City of nightmare	Spoiler for episode 6: New character appears!! Kumukakure Hotaru, the Koga clan ninja finally joint the show. The harem war is set to go. The ending narration by Ahoru was sadly since he said Hotaru won't be reappear again, but after some moment, she was back as a recuring character. I got fooled with it. Man, this is a killer joke. And her brother turned as a hikikamori or something due to the lost of the ninja games blows me off...... This show gonna be interesting. I enjoy it so far!

The catfights between Tsubaki(always got pulled into the fight), Yamame and Hotaru(the Ninja games grudge) are funny.
