I'm guessing the real emotional pain is what Moka had to go through, and we also get a backstory of Akuha, where she had to suffer. Probably some Ling-ling family matters there aswell (he'll lose most of his family D

I think that "pain" is actually being applied to just about everyone in the story at the moment.

Tsukune for what' he's witnessed.
Kurmu and Mizore for what they've seen of Moka's memory, and heard of Tsukune's confession.
Moka for her past.
Akua for her past with Moka and Akasha.
The Wongs, being Tim Tim and Fei Hung, in the physical manor.
Fong Fong for having that feeling his parents aren't doing well.
And Yukari in her state of panic.

So pain is quite abundant in this arc amongst most everybody.

I hope the title deals with the fight between Ling Ling and Akuha in some fashion or another since either one probably hasn't felt 'pain' in the traditional sense in a long time. But we'll see what Ikeda-sensei has cooked up for us this time.

Ah don't worry about stuff like that - it's not like I, or anyone else, has any more privilages than you do. Just relax and try to keep up with all the crazy stuff that will happen in here.

As with any forum, there are a few rules about the topic.

1) No Trolling / Pointless Bashing - All of us like all the core characters of R+V (Moka, Tsukune, Kurumu, Yukari, Mizore, Ruby, Gin, etc) so if anyone bashes a character without reason, we will ignore you/make fun of you.

and most importantly 2) Under no circumstance, outside mention of this particular rule, should the atrocity of a vampire story known as 'Twilight' or any characters affiliated with 'it' be mentioned in anything other than a derogatory manner on this forum and even then, keep it to a minimum, for the mere mention of 'it' has sent more than one of our number into a rage that took much bribing and blood packets to subdue. The status of the 'Tru Blood' series is still up for grabs but it would be safer not to compare any Western story to R+V and it's characters - for your own safety.

He's right on this one. Twilight is an abomination that has turned vampires into cuddly superhumans in the modern eye.
It's fine vampires being considering something superhuman/other than human bearing in mind the traditional weaknesses, but to say they're anything other than at the least extremely morally ambiguous in general is pushing it 4

The amount of people I know who now like Vampires, but only the more friendly, amicable, modern literature version thats sprung up around the same time as the original Twilight novels and since, let alone the films, is...well almost depressing.

That said western stuff like Dracula (given this is the most famous vampire tale of them all) or the Underworld (debateable) and the likes should still be ok to bring up.

Basically - anything that portrays vampires as predators/intelligent but not completely human/something non-human/something badass/not something you want to mess with unless you have a REALLY good reason... is GOOD.

Twilight - very very very very very...BAD.
