Just watched the bathhouse OVA. It was way too short and bit felt low-budget, but I really enjoyed it^^

Which character was the narrator talking about developing esper abilities and this being Academy City? Because that was totally Conan's english VA from Case Closed... oh god, was that Kuroko? Also... think she just mispronounced Misaka as "Misuka".

Oh and wow, that Saten voice... really weird that she's using such a mature voice, since I know she can do young. She did Ai in Case Closed and Nae in Steins;Gate, after all.

Yeah, I don't mind passing on this. Or at least sitting on it for a few years until it gets a BD.

Instead of producing inferior dubs, they should focus on quality design and providing nice extras.

Because then they'd charge a premium. It's the trade off between Aniplex prices and the gutted Sentai/Funimation prices.

For the people who like dubs and who can't read subs it's a plus anyway. I didn't listen to the sound of that clip since my computer sound isn't working, so don't judge me if I didn't react to how it sounds.

Oh definitely. I'm not against dubs. I have my personal preference, but dubs allow for larger appeal.

It's just... there was some obvious lack of effort and odd choices here and there that made me go "what...?"

This was good, but it wasn't as popular. As long as Misaka has good voice acting when it counts as well as the others, it doesn't really matter...

I just listened to the trailer. It wasn't that bad. The English voices were preserved from last season and Index, that's all. I'm sure it'll be fine for the people who like the English dub.

I did watch the English dub first you know.

Anyway, Kuroko definitely said Misaka's name right, she just has an accent... people reacted to strongly to that...
