*Japanese pronunciation of 'Zenbu' is similar to 'Seven', so it is a metaphor for 'Seven-Eleven'.
'Zenbu' itself means 'All' FYI

Got some scans in chinese. Didn't get a translation or someone who would translate, so I'm going to sum 'em up.

Dunno if anyone still cares for the series or no, but I sure wanted to know chinese right now...

Chapter 9:

Chapter cover: Messhu, 26 pages.

- Messhu keeps fighting with Renya and Alto Weinberg, and then retreats because Carla was missing;
- Then the scenary changes. A misteryous english speaking black man (which seems like an acquaintaince of Messhu) appears and talks with two people who seem to be associated with feudal lords, asking "if they don't think that the night sea is lovely;
- Carla meets Renya, hugging him tightly. ♥♥♥ Alto makes reverence to his so-called "Claire-sama". The group talk for a while;
- Carla sees a HUGE TORNADO: Messhu was taking revenge on the soldiers that let Carla escape and on the village. Denshichirou confronts him with a japanese sword;
- Renya appears with four long-knifes on a strange dispositive that is located on his right shoulder. He takes on of them and throws against Messhu's wind gust. He then throws the other two to create a distraction and appears above Messhu, knocking him.
- Messhu's flight makes him not hit the ground with such strength. He and Renya face eachother.

Chapter 10:

Chapter cover: none, 30 pages. (Probably end of volume 2)

- While Renya is facing Messhu, everyone stayed behind. They talk about how dangerous it was to face such an enemy alone;
- Renya flies through Messhu's wind gusts and is knocked back. He then tries to use THE ARM on him, but another wind gust hits the palm of his hand;
- C.C. talks how previous targets of THE ARM died. Meanwhile, on the battle field, Renya absorbs the wind gust. Messhu notices and steps back. They throw wind gusts and knifes at eachother as C.C. still talks with the rest of the group...;
- Messhu's knocks Renya, who is bleeding quite much. When he was preparing a concentrated attack, Renya throws A HUGE TRUNK (!!!) at him. The trunk falls above Messhu's head.
- Messhu's got tired of this shit and throws a wind blast at Renya. The blast hits another huge trunk that falls in front of Renya. It was cutted down by Alto, who just arrived at the scene. He appears with a sword with... BULLETS!?!? (What the hell man);
- Messhu starts doing a huge tornado around him. Alto promptly does an attack called "DOUBLE PANIC SMASHER" on the ground and it slices the tornado in two.
- Renya flies above Messhu and throws the four knifes at his four wind holes: on the shoulders and above his knees;
- He uses THE ARM: "Kourin - Danzai Rekkashou" (Something among the lines of "Descent - Convicting Palm of the Raging Fire"). Was that even a technique...? Oh, whatever;
- The "acquaintaince" of Messhu senses his partner's death.
- Messhu's dead on the floor, desfigurated, with smokes coming out of him. Not much of his body is showed, though;
- The group reunites, everyone is happy... Except for C.C., who stands on a cliff alone and looks gloomy and ominous.

Chapter 11:

Chapter cover: Alto, 26 pages. (Probably start of volume 3)

- The girl's are having a peaceful time on the bath chit-chating. They're without ANY clothes on (No shit, Sherlock?), AKA fanservice;
- Renya tells something to them at distance, but Alto thinks he wants to spy on the girls and draws a sword on his throat.
- Angie, Alto and Renya are carrying rocks and wood. They're building a dam(?);
- A huge explosion of water occurs. They look back on the girls direction.
- The black guy from before emerges from the water and seems to be controlling it, making it rain. (OH I GET IT THE OLD FOUR ELEMENT ENEMIES CLICHÉ, HUH?). The girls put their hands over their breasts to cover them. He's wearing the same strange symbol as Messhu (the nightmare symbol?);
- Somewhere on Britannia... 3 sinister looking individuals with strange symbols (the nightmare symbols) on their hats are seem talking. Lelou-cover is reading a book called "Dead Sea Scrolls" and they seem to be talking about C.C. (she's even shown with the nun outfit on a flashback!);
- Back to action. Remember those guys associated with the feudal lords? They're shown inside a bubble floating in the sky. They are crushed inside the bubble as soon as the black man closes his hands;
- A new bubble is formed... with all the naked girls inside of it, including C.C. and they seem like fighting to not drown;
- The black guy looks down on Angie, Renya and Alto. He smirks.

When chapter 12 is out, I'll sum it up as well. I won't post the link to the scans here because I'm unsure if it's against the rules.

Question:

Is Code Geass: Renya of the Dark cancelled/discontinued?

I ask, because I haven't seen anything new for it in months, and there hasn't been any new information about it.

I was enjoying it, which is why I ask if anyone has heard anything new.

As far as I know, the monthly Japanese publication of the Renya manga is still ongoing and they've already released all of volume four on its own. The most recent chapters would be part of future volumes five or six.

Last time I checked, current English translations have been gradually picking up and they're almost done with volume three or so. If you haven't read up on those lately, you might be interested in finding them.

Renya is still ongoing, huh? I wanted to get into it but the Lelouch lookalike turned me off. Still have bad memories of when R2 ended, throwing out a fake Lelouch isn't going to make things better.

Ohgi being there ruins it, does anyone even like that incompetent fool anymore? Poor Kallen, they're shipping her again with Lelouch and it's doubtful that this will end any differently. Even in Suzaku of the Counterattack(Or whatever it's called) she doesn't get with Lelouch despite things ending differently for Lelouch. Do they enjoy torturing Kallen or something? Don't even get me started on poor C.C. who doesn't even get a proper send off like she did in R2.

Whatever the case I'm sure they'll have Suzaku defect to the other store and they'll clash. Suzaku will be like "I'm abandoning the store my father loved because it's better for everyone to just submit.". Than epic mope duels between Kallen and Suzaku when Suzaku tries to stop Lelouch from taking out the store "Britannia". Kallen will than be blackmailed to meet the guys at Britannia and they'll try and force her to quit and put her moping skills to better use at their store. Lelouch will than appear and save her as promised since she was only blackmailed because of him.

I found it online and read the English adaptation up to Chapter 16 (Karim's Dream).

Very interesting developments in this so called official portion of the Code Geass timeline.

Dash and Lelouch are one and the same somehow, as CC points out in Chapter 15 (Journey with the Witch). She makes it crystal clear that she and Dash/Lelouch are required to keep the world in balance. That would make sence since CC says upon seing young Lelouch in S1 or the anime "I've finally found you" upon seeing Lelouch with Suzaku and Nunnally. CC also says that she gave "Geass" its name, so what it's actually called is unknown. Thus far I'm enjoying how this story is developing. There is certainly more than just a simple CC x Lelouch/Dash vein in it. They haven't explained it just yet, but somehow CC and Dash/Lelouch are necessary for the world to be "unlocked" whatever that means.

After checking that chapter, I think this isn't necessarily the case.

What makes you think Lelouch and Dash are the same person? They look similar, of course, and he is probably Lelouch's ancestor (which may potentially tie in to the part you referenced from S1), but that doesn't mean they are supposed to be the same character in the end.

I think what Renya of the Dark is saying as a story is that reincarnation plays a large role in the Code Geass universe. The same souls are continuously being recycled through time in order for time itself to continue.
This is also what is hinted at in R2 in the C's World episode when Charles tries to stop time and Lelouch continues it. Marianne tells Suzaku he can be with Euphie. That would imply either they all get killed and go to Geass-Heaven together (a la NGE) or death itself will end by slaying "god" with the Sword of Akasha. Thus stopping the endless cycle of reincarnation and allowing Suzaku to be with Euphemia once more.

Using what we know from the anime as a guide, it is safe to assume that Dash, Weinberg, Renya, the Kaguya clone (forgot her name), and the others are not just ancestors of the anime characters, but literally the anime characters in a previous life. Very much along the same lines as Otogi Zoshi.

I agree we'll have to wait and see if the story pans out that way as the manga progresses.

However, I think what CC says in episode 1 of S1 gives the best hint.

At 1:43 seconds into this clip (Japanese with English sub) CC says clearly "I've found you."

Why?

I understand there are many possibilities/answers to that question.
Originially I would say it only meant CC was looking for him for Charles/Marianne's plan.
However, if we add the new information from Renya (since it is the official history of the anime) then we now have new possibilities why CC says this.
One such reason may be because she is looking for

The manga chapter also says CC is just learning everything about it (Code) that means, from that point in time CC just got her code from the NUN. The Nun might be a Jesuit, the mere reason why CC is traveling with them... To look for answers...

I just heard what happened in volume 6 of LoTR. What about 7 and 8? I heard that in 7, Tokyo got nuked as well as Nunnally coming into Area 11 as well as Kaguya betraying Zero. I wanna know the differences sooooo super BAD! I've watched the show and now's the time to review the manga ;D!

I read code geass renya untile chapter 19, well...is a trash manga.

Nonsense story by now, and the events are written bad, like the battle, they run away and the chapter after, one of the girl is captures, but how and when happened? nobody know....

I just finished Chapter 35 of Renya of the Dark.
After some rather badly done chapters this manga has finally picked up the pace and gotten pretty good.
