I normally eat around 2,500 cal, because that's my BMR is at 2,200 cal. 5,000 can be burned off in around three days.

It's cny, you guys should be merry and eat all the sinful food to your heart content. There's plenty of time left in the year to regret over it ;D

My fave for the new year is always the dried pork jerky. Eventhough it's available throughout the year but cny is the season where it's plentiful and I always can't stop myself from getting more than I should.

Won't it be easier if you just walk home from the nearest station everyday?

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Walking does jack squat... Running might solve one problem, but it doesn't do very much for the other tests...

Please don't tell me you are one of those jocks who spend time on IPPT so they can get the Gold money reward, one can get that same amount of money in 3 nights by taking up less desirable assignments in the logistics/technical industry.

I always get a pass - sit-ups and chin-ups I do the bare minimum and I just ace my 2.4km and shuttle. After all, if I get assigned to armed duty, the only thing I do is suit-up, scramble and shoot someone - most of the gear I carry are expendable anyway. Besides, I have been on a PES D status for 2 years and nobody called or sent me any letter.

If your BMI is average or slightly above, you are fine. If you are going to calculate every single calorie you eat and worry, I suggest you spend your weekends going up and down Bukit Timah Hill in 3 hours maximum with a bag filled with 4 full 1.5 litre bottles, between 12pm-3pm.
