As for Nisekoi, its cliche but it hits the right spots. It gives me the feeling of old romance mangas. So its the old good titles feeling with new age art. Just the right thing. It isn't some kind of super high plot, but its a good romance with likeable main cast. Which I cannot say about most of the other popular romances lately (GE/KNIM for example)

No, the statement that was told was probably GE worse than KNIM, not KNIM better than GE!
I know worse and better are kindah opposites but let's not consider in this case, that one could inverse it that easily! And I hardly consider KNIM to be any good tbh.

I didn't think that a romance manga would be doing good in WSJ and though this is the first time, I am checking the rankings, while reading the recent chapters, I had a feeling that the romance or the plot, is going too fast. Feels like, this was not made with the intention to last long, in my opinion.
