Hellsing OST

I'm really quite impressed with this soundtrack. The music is nothing like what i've herd before but somehow it's really good.

Anyone else grab this soundtrack and like it?

Anybody know if the guy who did this OST did any other anime OSTs? By did, I mean composed, along the lines of Yoko Kanno or Kajiura Yuki.

Yeah, i'd like to know this too. The only thing i've found out: the artist who composed this ost is Yasushi Ishii. Are there any regular Albums of this artist? Can't google anything helpful atm.

amazing to watch those fingers, thanks

since i can't find anything from Yasushi Ishii i'd be happy about music suggestions which sound similiar to the hellsing ost. doesn't have to be an anime ost, if the style fits...

I really didn't find myself as drawn to this music as much as I was the music from the first Hellsing Series. I guess the sound from the first series stuck with me and I really associated that with Hellsing.

I'm going to give it a chance with OST 2, but so far I haven't been as impressed with the music in the new series as much as the less classical sound from the first Anime.

You know many of my friends thought the same thing. To be honest I really felt the first Hellsing Series had better music as well; though the OST was great as well because it took a completly different take on Hellsing. At least to the effect that it allowed for Alucard to be expressed through the songs differently. In general I felt that the first series's music adapted well with the characters.

Hellsing ost gets you in the right mood and kinda gives you the feel of Hellsing Anime . The ost has been really well used in the anime

Really Dumb Q : Has the Hellsing Ova ost been released yet
