Episode 73 Discussion [Spoilers]

I will not sumarize this episode again because my first overview from before the release of the raw was pretty much completely accurate but once again this episode is just perfect, nothing to complain about it.

At last one really feels that there is a real war in Konoha, the buildings crumble under the giant snakes, the shinobis fight on the destroyed houses and Jiraiya is such a pimp (yeah I know GreyArea, but Jiraiya's really a pimp ).

Shino and Sasuke remain the two cold badass bastard that they are, discussing and smirking about their opponents as if they weren't there ^^

The God of Death is awesome and the confrontation between the 3rd and Darth Oro (Oro's a Sith, he has a light-saber ) comes to his end.

And the next episode seems to be another awesome episode ^^

Exactly my point. A Clone can't be in Kyuubi mode without the REAL Naruto being in Kyuubi mode.. After all, the Chakra is split equally among all clones, therefore when the Jutsu is done (in Kagebunshin's case) it is divided based upon that current Chakra content of the Jutsu user..

Anyways, im getting farther and farther off topic... This is episode 73 thread, not "how does this jutsu work" topic =) Although an interesting side topic =)

So does that mean that naruto is the 4th reborn ?!? Since The 4th sealed kyubi inside of himself and sacrificed his life. How can it now be in Naruto? unless they are the same but reborn, but hmm then the villages have no reason to hate him

nonnono, it doesnt mean that.. And it isnt possible either.. naruto was born BEFORE the 4th died, so it cant be the 4th reincarnated... The 4th sealed Kyuubi inside Naruto as a baby..

Now on speculation some people think Naruto was the 4th's son.. which is most likely and VERY possible.. Reasons are that he was the choice the 4th selected for Sealing Kyuubi... He would have used someone special to him, not some random Ninja.. Moreso he wanted to protect the village with his life, and probably wanted his legacy to continue protecting the village.. Hence sealing Kyuubi inside his (possible) child... And well, they look EXTREMELY alike... =)

A counter-argument would be that if Naruto WAS the 4ths son, then wouldn't everyone treat him as a hero instead of hating him? I think because of this issue Kishimoto hasn't addressed Naruto's parents.. I don't think he ever will, which in my opinion is a mistake considering the speculation and controversy it brings up when anyone discusses it.

There are many theories and even more thread about that, and the truth is that nobody know.

Your theory is well know here as the wild and crazy theory of Dranz.
There is also the crazy and wild theory of Hunter that says that Naruto is the absolute final step of the Kage Bunshin, a real and independant clone.

And plenty of simplier theories that says that Naruto is the son or just a relative of the 4th.

Not necessarily. They never exactly said Naruto was born before the 4th. Until we actually find out what Naruto is to the 4th, then I'll forever stick with my Wild and Crazy theory and then if mine's wrong, I root for Hunter's Wild and Crazy theory.

Either way it's all good.

naruto has no parents, the fourth being dead and all, everybody hates him because of the kyuubi inside of him, his mother? i don't know

Awesome episode, on the whole. Could have been better though. I agree that the Hokage fight is being dragged oout a little, but that wasnt a big problem in the episode. I enjoyed the music especially. Also, I now realize that Sarutobi is freakin badass. I mean, he sacrifices everything to protect the village, and recovers seemlessly from a near beating by Oro. Of course, the Fuujin jutsu is incredibly cool, wanna see more big, complicated dark jutsus like that. Buuuuuuut, i know that Orochimaru doesnt die, so this whole sacrifice means nothing, which is kinda sad. The preview for the next episode was really cool, kinda scary in fact. But the best part is that this episode download in 28 MINUTES!!!!!!! Insane!
