Oh, ok, lol, now I get, I was wondering why the chapter said 1 and it showed 4 books.

Ok, then I can now say.......

DRAGON MAGAZINE (a light novel magazine) HAS JUST STARTED THE SERIALIZATION OF THE LIGHT NOVEL SERIES BASED OFF THE MANGA OF HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD.

The 1st chapter was just published in the May issue. I have it, and I can verify, that it is the first chapter of a new lgiht novel series for this story.

The artwork is pretty good. I cant read Japanese YET, but it looks kool.

^ Not in the nearest future.. Its still to early for an anime adaptation.. Need at least 40 chapters before we could think for a 13 episode series..

hmm, interesting news on the light novel. i will be sure to be the look out for it. And it indeed would be nice to see this animated but that probably won't happen till next year or even the year after.

holy crud, last night I checked out this manga, and yes, I instantly recognized the artist due to the style and the previous H works I had seen.
So far it gave a very good impression, its like The Zombie Survival Guide of Max Brooks being put into practice. What I liked the most was the portrayal of how humans can become scum when society crumbles. Can't wait to see how the plot continued to develop

The gang do decide to go and save the nearly dying grandma but as luck would have it, the hospital was already infested with zombies. And by the end of the episode the gang has already traded one life with another (poor road kill ).

Seriously. Not a very smart trade. She can't even fight and constantly needs treatment, compared to that guy... Hah... At least they didn't "leave anyone to die" instead.

Happy time for chapter 20 sad time because it seems so short. Not much happened this time. The group broke their rule got some meds saved the old lady and some dude died even though they were nice enough to ask for his name and Asami was nice enough to off him so he wouldnt turn into THEM. Honestly they made a bad move i know it sounds horrible but that guy was young and could have been of great use in fight the grandma is old and will be nothing but a hindrance. In a life or death situation you dont take the old or wounded because the slow you down. Oh well i guess they accept the fact that they did save a life imo it was just the wrong life. The little girl is too young to understand these things even though saving her might not have been the smartest move either. Really no Saeko this time that was disappointing but the extra pic of her was HAWT
