...Really? I'm still a little skeptical at that fact. Think about it if she wanted to address Shougo as her "onii-sama" than why did she do it now instead of volume 4, when she made her appearance. The sisters identity kept changing so...this is, I'll give this the benefit of the doubt for now.

I'm going to keep an open mind about this, but that's just me.

If he was like that, then the series would be over.

There were some situations in the LN where Shougo is alone with either naked Konoe, topless Miyabi or bra-less Rinka in shirt trying to eat him up. The only thing keeping him from doing that is the possibility of this girl being his real younger sister.

Also I think he is being rational with that. If you think about it, Shougo is a successor of a major company (internationally renowned too). It'd create a huge scandal if the girl he married turned out to be a younger sister by blood. And not only that, this younger sister is an illegitimate child of Shougo's father.

I get the feeling that it is going to turn out that she wasn't actually blood related if the girl he does choose ends up being her, Only that she THOUGHT that she was blood related. It will turn out that while he had an affair with her mother, this was after she was born but he saw her as a real daughter and no one bothered to tell her otherwise.

It's pretty much explained that Shougo's mother knew about her late husbands affair and that the sister isn't blood related to him in anyway.
