Well I got the DYRL limited bluray and the Macross Plus bluray release. I was kinda disappointed with both.

Even though DYRL did not have English subs, what bothered me was the editing for 2 bloody scenes. Ironic actually.

Macross Plus Bluray came with the English sub version of Macross Plus the Movie which was fine, but the OVA eps were only in English audio which also would have been ok since I grew up with the dub, BUT they apparently did not get the Manga Entertainment rights to the dub in the last ep causing they to recast and redub which was terrible.

My hope and if they are smart, they will at least keep the sub for Macross Plus and FINALLY Sub DYRL. Like Yamato 2199, lots of people outside Japan will buy it (including myself AGAIN) if they sub it!

So wait wait WAIT.....the OVA portions of the Macross Plus BLURAY you own doesn't even have the original Japanese audio track???????? WTF?!?!!?

Peoples... I'm gonna make a little trip to Orlando-FL in the next few days and I'd like suggestions of places to buy/order some nice Macross merch. Figurines, action figures, whatever possible - and not too expensive, please. Offline or online with a fast and reliable delivery (gonna be there only two weeks, so, no time to waste).

Any suggestions?

The VF-31J and VF-171 were just released as part of the Mecha Colle brand. The 1/144 and 1/72 scales will be arriving in the next few months.

SH Figuarts Zero's first Delta figure is coming in September.

Not too much delta merchandise in Japan at the moment. Just picked up a Delta folder, the Macross II Bluray and AGAIN the Macross Movie Bluray to fix the screw up with the last Movie Bluray they released which was edited to heck.

It was done by Koji Morimoto. One of the animation directors for Plus responsible for the Sharon Apple concert scenes.

Bandai will be releasing 1/72 Plamo for Macross Delta, with Hayate's VF-31J releasing in June, and Arado's VF-31S in July:

What annoys me is the fact that tomytec's are the only 1/144 Battroid kits currently available with any form of articulation, but are expensive (for what you get). I'm only interested because they're in-scale with my 1/144 Gunpla. Hope the procies can drop at least a little--Tomy already has it's hand in my wallet with their 1/12 little armory line of gun kits...

Macross Delta prequel manga, Macross E (マクロスΕ). Apparently Mikumo and the girls aren't the first generation Walkure. The manga will tell about the first Walkure member with a rookie pilot as her protector. She's probably the girl in walkure logo. She and the rookie pilot might be dead or "graduated" from idol job by now.

Here's the manga synopsis in nihongo:
「マクロスΔ」公式外伝！恋と謎と熱血のトライアングラー!!
西暦2062年、バジュラが去った銀河に新たな危機が迫る。
星間複合企業ケイオスの新人パイロット・金城会とは、アイドルのピリカを追いかけて定時退社に命を懸ける日々を送っていた。
