So Midori falls for the joke character. Doesn't say much about her. Oh well, laughs had by all involved.

I think I have a fair idea where this is going.

Yurie will turn out to be the grass controlling sorceress. Takizawa will be involved somehow too. Maybe there'll be a plan to distribute the grass to the entire country, hence them inviting Ran's father over. The monkey knew all along.

Still somewhat interesting. I still sometimes get surprised how dark this show becomes at times, like with the car accident at the end.

After breezing through the first 4 episodes, I can say that it's an enjoyable watch. Midori's attempts at making herself larger than she actually is with her high-mindedness which fails all too often gets a few good laughs here and there and the sudden enemy-to-ally changes require suspension of disbelief, but it's not like I'm taking this show too seriously anyhow.

Like Sorrow mentioned, this series does a lot of switches between light-hearted moments to darker scenes (the scene with the villagers took a page out of Higurashi it seems). It's definitely not something I mind at all since the traditional magical girl show would have been too much to bear, so it's good that they're mixing it up a bit.

Well didn't think that sensei would be part of this as well. Sure expected her to come back into it at some point, but was an interesting development. Making friends with the real Yurie and then having her die in a sad accident. Just taking advantage of the grass to manipulate that village. No doubt she enjoyed having the chance to experience someone loving her. Well at the end she vanished and will no doubt cause more trouble along the way.

Also showed that despite the lighthearted moments Midori still has a pretty hard lined stance on things. More than willing to push and push into that guys head to try and get her answers. Eventually was stopped by Rui using his shutdown. Important to find the answers, but was right that if you break someone's mind there is no repairing them. Have a feeling they will but heads a few times in this series. Just different mindsets that lead to a dispute. A nice attempt by Ran to break it up .

That's some pretty rude grass. Going to the extent of temporarily killing Midori so Ran would blast them away. No wonder Midori had been worried about coming near this place since the whole intent of those plants was to use her in their suicide. Really some insane power related to the weather with Ran.

Actually a pretty good episode overall. Now onto the onsen .

The animation in this series is pretty damn good.

Wow, Momoko-sensei seems to be everywhere. Is she going to be a recurring bad guy?

So, I guessed some things, but not everything. Again, I'm surprised by just how dark this show gets at times. Attempted murder, psychologically disturbed antagonists, identity theft. All this in a kid's show.

And, you know what, I wouldn't mind it all too much if Momoko-sensei appeared again. She seems to be an embodiment of this idea that having these powers twists the morals and views of the people that possess them. I have this feeling that Midori came pretty close to turning out exactly like Momoko-sensei. Certainly, there's something more to Midori then what we've seen. The way she said the line: "How can people go on living if they keep on dwelling about those who have passed away? You have to forget, right?" made me think that she could well be speaking from experience.

I don't know about you guys, but this episode bored me almost senseless...

I think the only plus I can take from it were the funny moments with Midori going gaga all over Ran's brother and the ending shock.

The rest of the episode didn't leave much of an impression on me at all.

And it was just naive that Midori just wouldn't believe the existence of ghosts...even when supernatural powers exist

Midori really can switch personalities at the drop of a hat. Going from her kind of rude side to the stupidly in love mode. Still her normal mode is plenty of fun to follow. Really keeps it cool for a few moments when a real ghost finally appeared. Yeah the old ghost is here to see your proportions .

Though clear that what is causing the real problems is all too human. Probably the mother and the businessman being key here. Scary voice might be the mother since she really would like to get the sale money and make sure there is no reason for her son to put up an argument about keeping it. Not sure if that guy died of natural causes or not, though we should find out pretty soon. Now the question is who is behind what the guys saw?

Well it should be settled within the next episode at any rate.

Good job Scooby gang. Though the guy should have said "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids" .

Was just nice with everyone pulling their pieces out one by one. As expected the ghosts weren't the issue but did represent things. The guy killed by his supposed friends and the father who is still in that inn even after his death. Nice that things were finally put to rest.

Midori really jumped around in the personality area. Not to mention that dream she was having . All that was missing was everyone being chased around the inn by someone dressed up in a costume.
