Though I'm fine with Maou and Chiho ending up together. I think it makes more sense anyways. While I think Emi and Maou can stabilize things, I'd still find it hard to see Emi getting romantically involved with the person who was connected to so many deaths (including her own father). I just feel like it'd be a bit too weird.
A bit weird? Suuuure. But she's the daughter of an angel, and angels are all about forgive and forget
Besides I think that things can work out the moment they point out that a lot of the deathtoll happened because Satan's generals decided to have a field day hunting humans while he was blissfully ignorant and sitting bored on his throne.
Now that he gets to live among humans, turns out that he's not such a bad demon guy afterall.

And we can't have a romantic comedy without a forbidden love between a demon lord and a half-angel, now can we?

This series reek of strong NTR....in a good way.

Just looks from Enta Island human's perspectives. Their solely holy hero are going to get corrupted, defiled and impregnated by the Dark Lord, and soon will conquer the Enta Island together.

Bad End for Enta Island citizen.

Good End for watchers and Maou Sado.

So do the novels directly call him out on his atrocities and the slaughter he committed against the humans of the Islands?

What the fuck do you mean you "didn't think of it that way"; especially annoying with his milquetoast apology. Is he somehow completely ignorant of what he did?

Did HE commit, order, allowed the atrocities? That's the question here.

He was their leader and sent his armies, so I can damn well say he had a heavy part in it.

There is the case of Yamashita Tomoyuki. Perhaps you should read it.

Easy- Humans were nothing more than an enemy, a target of conquest.

Hence the never thought of it that way.

Indeed! How else are we going to enjoy a spin-off (when there is one) about an offspring with identity crisis? This is a good show!

Perhaps you should tell me where in the novels there was a breakdown in communications between him and the demon armies and his generals.

You're obviously missing the point: Don't jump to conclusions without the necessary information.

*BOGGLE*. Good stuff, if she's real.

My rudimentary glance at what was covered in the anime revealed nothing of that sort. The part on Ente Isla was kind of an exposition and have no details at this level. Perhaps it would be revealed later, and in that case, even if you asked, no one can reply future novel details in this thread.

I'll be ok with that NSFW pic of the landlady if they would also change her voice.

hearing somebody with that looks and with that voice say "No, Miki-T to" would be ... creepy.

Quite expected from a prince living in royal leisure.

Thats..I...You...What.

What doujin did you read and where can I get a copy?

BTW, I'd like to raise a small headscratcher I've been working on. Why does everyone think the Maou didn't have a reason to invade. From what he said to Emi, he probably just saw the humans as the nebulous outer enemy who trapped his people on the central island.

Think about it for a second. Emi's motivation was the death of her father. How many of the demons she killed also had families? Normally you wouldn't think about that, since as non-humans they are "acceptable targets". Maou was probably using the same logic. He didn't see "people" to invade and kill, he saw "enemies" to defeat. Until Emi came from nowhere and bitch-slapped him with the idea that humans could match demons, that is.

And it wasn't even a human matching him, damn angels interfering with the natural way of the world.

Damn, Chi-chan beats Emi by a hair, but it is lol worthy that the US makes up the majority of the Emi votes. Guess america likes their tsunderes than most other countries.
