Ichigo 100% TV, OVA, & Special Discussion

Just when you thought Ichigo 100% was over and done with, they go release something new. Not that I'm complaining or anything

Does anyone know if there are going to be any more of these specials, or was this just a one time deal?

About the special:

Ok, there are 5 additional OAV's that I know of. Is this something different? If it is then I'll download it and see what it's about (seems different, because none of the OAV's had Yui backstory in them... meh, I'll just download it anyway).

Yeah, this is TV special, not an OAV (it has the TV show op and ed). It's on the main AnimeSuki page, so go download it.

Of course I don't know if it's "new" or not. It could have aired a long time ago and dp just released it today.

I heard there's 2 specials but so far I only see one, the one on yui. where's the other one. I'm certainly not talking about the JUMP FESTA OVA & 4 DVDs.

Well, I was the original creator of this so I felt I might as well make the repost.

The series didn't finish it: thats why.

Also, the art in the series was pretty bad, most of the time that is. There were a few scenes that were pleasant to watch.

Be prepared for some hilarity in the next few hours. I made a few comics in jest about the art in Ichigo. I don't have access to them right now, but will in around 4 hours

That's two specials combined. If you watch this one, you'll see there are two different ep titles, so they're two 10min eps.

Yeah the animation in the anime really sucked during the middle episodes.

It wsa nothing compared to the OVAs which were drawn beautifully.

Well it's always been in a 2 episode format. So that means we are Done with Ichigo? Nothing left or announced?

Is this the same special that was an introduction to the 5 part OVA series?

AAaargh...how come the story never go anywhere. It's always about the main character got to be alone with one of his fan-girls but then nothing happened.
Damn the main character

Well, I must say I thought that was well done and rather sweet - certainly the best Yui story of the series. It's nice to see a somewhat more normal story with a little more depth, and less of the frantic, antic slapstick neo-hentai of the OVAs.

What I can't figure out is just where the hell this series is going. 13 eps, 5 OVAs - and now this? It almost looked like a "lost episode" of the TV series - you certainly couldn't tell it apart from all the others. And yet it airs after the five OVAs? Very odd.

dead... horse... salvaging bits..... kicking wonderful character designs after they've trampled them in the mud of hideous storylines.

Well, to clarify, I assume that these are the two extra episodes (paired into one) that accompanied the recent DVD release. Since the DVD included stories 1 through 12 (i.e. episodes 1 to 6), I assume it fits in there. So, that explains the "lost episode" feel - that's exactly what it is, I think.
