Gotta agree with Tri-ring! I can't wait to see that fight animated although my most anticipated fight has to be Brian Hawk VS Takamura... I yearn to see that one animated as it was epic.

When Takamura pounds Hawk's face into the mat... that is the single greatest beat down punch ever. Probably my favorite moment in any fight in the entire series.

So the first fight should be Sanada/Ippo right? Been nearly a year since I read it, I'm half tempted to go through the archives for Ippo again.

That's already finished with the Champion road movie.
It'll probably start with Itagaki joining the Gamoga squad.
I also saw an ad with Arnie's image so I think the Arnie vs Miyata match will be drawn into this season.

I'd guess the Arnie/Miyata fight for the OPBF championship than. What chapter does Itagaki even join the gym? Its been too long. I thought it was a little later.

Considering that the first 75 episodes only covered up to Volume 33 of the manga, and the manga currently at 85 volumes, then another 75 episodes worth of material is VERY LIKELY...hopefully they make even MORE!

I went back to see which volume Itagaki joined Kamogawa gym. It was volume 39 after the Date vs Ricardo "Diablo" Martinez match and before Ippo - Hammer Nao match.

Are these the same as the first series? According to animenfo Takamura's VA is different in the first series which would really suck...

Also, Takamura vs. Hawk and Genji vs. the American guy.. can't remember his name, are by far the most exciting and emotional fights to look forward to in my opinion. I can't wait for January!
In contrast I thought the Ippo vs. the filipino? I think, the Magic guy who has the 'extending arms' I thought was a really boring fight.
