You imagine it, DxD as well as Maken-ki and Horizon character designs (judging by the anime key frames) are bad from a technical standpoint, as well as inconsistent... at least IMHO.

Dunno about will turn out eventually, but the extended promo does not bear anything to look forward to, except badly drawn bouncing boobs with retro audio sfx and another annoying male lead... just like Horizon (SFX->infodump)

I do, but unfortunately I can count in one hand the anime examples, on the manga/doujinshi/VN/LN front though the situation is a lot better should one grow out of the fakku.net-vanilla-for-kids

Asia seems a bit off to me <.< but not sure. Maybe because she looks mature and all and not your innocent imouto but Akeno..... she's different from what I can tell in the novel. She just seem totally different.

As long as the censors don't run amok again, as they did with R-15, it's still watchable.
An uncensored version will of course be appreciated, even if it's mutilated... better than nothing.
