Mainly just from the one where she and Ryoko are shown with their respective names. Shots like that usually use the "introductory" versions of the characters. Your avatar, however, appears to be after the "protagonist" has "loosened her up" a little bit (her "sheltered existence" had probably never let her go to a festival or wear a yukata).

Nah, the Eva thing came from even OLDER dating sim games. The scene in Eva was in itself a parody. Complete with bumping into a girl.

Yea that's Gainax, they make parodies of stuff so well, essentially making it part of themselves, that people no longer know that its a reference of something earlier.

Inazuma Kick and Top took out Rider Kick and Ultraman, then recombined it into one final product, Buster Machine no. 7, a female Kamen Rider who shoots beams like Ultraman.

Most likely Haruhi Either would work, really... though her possibly being an alternate Kyon does make her "flirting" in Vol7 a bit creepy
