Yea, doubt it. The manga (up to the chapters involving Hiei and her "student council" as you can see above) is far too complex to be covered in just two goddam movies (and the manga is still on-going to boot). Sanzigen might as well shoot themselves in the head before even attempting to do it before it turns into another disaster like Fate/Stay Night - UBW movie, Saint Seiya - Legend of Sanctuary movie, or Dragon Ball Evolution. To those I say "no thank you". I prefer them to do their own story like in the series but not turning it into something brainmeltingly stupid like Infinite Stratos S2.

Anyway, now I'm curious whether the "student council" will be prominent in the 1st movie or just a cameo at the end to tease the audience to see the 2nd movie (ala Marvel).

So much for a recap movie . This sounds more like a remake/reboot to me.

And good character designs on the "student council" wich rather true to the manga. Even the loli Haguro looks as unappealling and bored as in the manga.

It's kind of shocking to see Kongo smiling. Ditto Kiri-Kiri and Haruna. The former is generally looking menacing or battle-eager and the later always has her coat.

Then there's the Mona Lisa affect of everyone looking out at the camera.

Which was shown in episode 8 of the original series. Does part of the new footage show Kongou, Maya and the Student Council in bathing suits perhaps?
