So that means all three episodes will be on air in one single day?

Yes, one after the other -- sort of like a movie, but divided into three episodes. (Nekomonogatari (Black) was streamed in a somewhat similar fashion, also by Aniplex.)

Oh man, that would be great. No need for a weekly waiting.

Say, when did Aniplex adapt this method of airing OVAs?

As far as I know, Nekomonogatari (Black) was the first time they did it quite this way, and that happened about six months ago, IIRC. This one is a bit of a wider scale with all the international partners. Of course, they had done various streaming partnerships before that (even the first season's OreImo OVA episodes were streamed online), so it's more of an evolution.

Nekomonogatari (Black) was aired in a 2 hour block on New Year's Eve, I believe. But that's still a pretty uncommon way to air a short or OVA series.

OreImo 2 is getting a special Theater run and international streaming. Which is upping the ante even higher for a "special event" type of presentation.

Nope. The final four episodes of the original OreImo were released at a rate of one per month (February, March, April, and May of 2011).

Given the nature of the material that needs to be covered by these final episodes I'd say it's a good thing it's being aired in one hour-long segment as opposed to being aired at a rate of one per month.

Perhaps shorten the title to something like "Episodes 14-16 streaming on 08-18-13"?

I moved this post from another Thread, I think this is the right place:

Crunchyroll says 'The 3 OVA's of Oreimo will be on Crunchyroll at the same time as the Japanese internet broadcast'. The airing times are:

- August 17, 2013 at 9 pm (21:00) Pacific Time

- August 18, 2013 at 1 pm (13:00) Japanese Time

For us the European audience the airing time is:

- 18th of August (Sunday), 06:00 in the morning (GMT+2) >>>(Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France..)

Regarding the Worldwide simulcast of 'Oreimo 2' The producer says:
Spoiler for Worldwide simulcast:

You can find the complete schedule and how to watch it worldwide, at this place:

Did I miss something? It will be aired at the same time worldwide or not? Why do you say for the rest of us it is '10 days longer'.
