kusabireika@ That's a good question, theoretically Margaret should be the one. As far we know she have no reasons to abandon her duties in the velvet room....but who knows?
Knowing that the velvet room is deeply linked to the guest( or something like this) anything can happen.

GDB@ You don't know? They gave him a new voice in the new Persona 4 arena.(the sequal of the first one).

That's why I'm pretty sure that our dear "Nose" will be in this game.

A bit surprised they went for both PS3 and PS4, but not too surprised. Does let them cover more bases. Wonder if there will be much difference between the two versions or if it's purely to get to as many people as possible?

New MC looks alright. Really it's just nice to see something new for the game.

Did they? That's weird, after all the trouble they went through to not recast him for the anime.

It looks like they also didn't recast him for the Persona 3 movie.

Actually, I'm not finding any information about him being recast at all, outside of the English dub.

But that link you sent me is for the English dub. I'm talking about the Japanese voices, since that's where it's being made and they wouldn't care whether the English version changes voices or not.

Kinda surprised for the PS4 reveal but still going with the PS3 version.
I'm really happy with this new trailer, i was really expecting P5 to be in a "big" crowded city and here we have, Shibuya! And the MC isn't even Sho, that i was almost sure that it would be

The new MC gave me a big Naoto vibe in first impression, he looks like someone that all the the girls would fall on the over the heels with.

I don't see why they can't just replace Igor's seiyuu. Happened with quite a few iconic characters in anime.

Usually only during a remake where they don't have a choice. Here, it's a new game, and they can retire the old character as a tribute to the original voice actor and bring in a new character.

They've just been using archived audio for the last few instances of the character.

Unless it would affect the story somehow. It might be in the same universe as P3-P4?

I'm really liking the look of the MC, and looking forward to finding out who's voicing him

Just going by design alone, he's definitely someone I can buy possibly having a way with the ladies

I wonder if that light at the end was the summoning of a Persona or Shadow's showing up? Maybe the moment where time stands still is meant to signal when Shadow's appear?

On the Igor thing... this game will probably be where whatever Atlus plans to do with the character is revealed. Whether they actually recast him or just retire his character out of respect for his VA and maybe upgrade one of the other Velvet Room Attendants to his position. That said, it would definitely feel weird not having Igor be the one to welcome the MC to the Velvet Room

Well I guess it's helpful to hit those who somehow missed the original teaser. Though yeah....would have appreciated an actual new trailer.

Also, Messiah really fit with Makoto role as saivor and the one that sacrifice himsefl for Humanity sake. Just look in what kind of predicament he is in the answer. GDB@ You don't know?
