Or the butterflies Kanon saw aren't the same ones people see during the murders
I guess that's a possibility however they really do not appear only during the murderers. Rosa in episode2 sees Beatrice and the golden butterflies on october 4. There is also the whole narration of Beatrice offering to Shannon her help to make George fall in love with her.
The butterflies appear practically anytime there is a magic event.

Quote:
The servants acted if they really believed in Beatrice to please Kinzo, Jessica for example thought Kanon and Shannon really believed that and then realized in the Study that every of the servants acted if they do to ease their masters pain
One thing is acting as if they believed, one thing is claiming to see what doesn't exist. For example Shannon works for Kinzo by a lot more time than Kanon but she doesn't say she's seen the butterflies herself

Yeah, in that case I am guessing rosa found the gold because in the rosa musou scene she is running away with a few ingots of gold, the people she fights I guess are the police who found her guilty/highly suspicious of killing everyont else in the island. I really hope they don't pull a yamainu in umineko.

Nah it's only one gold ingot and she took it from the chapel where three of them were exposed.

Also I'm starting like Beatrice as a character more in this episode. She doesn't seem anymore like the detestable monster Battler makes her out to be...

Well for all intents and purposes Beatrice was six degrees beyond awesome in the last quarter of episode 3. Taking that and everything else into account, I guess I can see why people like episode 3 the most.

Yeah, and for the final battle Battler was oozing and secreting GAR from every gland and orifice imaginable.

I'll say it now: If Studio DEEN does it right, the last 25% of episode 3 might be the best episodes of the first season.

Why not read EP4 and find out? Otherwise, let's move this discussion to the EP4 thread, shall we?

Just some musing here before I go read Episode 4, so ignore me if someone's brought this up already.
