you are not the only one...

after seven episodes or so, Tsugumi has become my favorite character of the show. I like Nagi and Zange-chan, but Tsugumi's personality is simply great and "addictive"... geez, I wish I could have an osana-najimi like her...

on a more serious note, after the sixth episode, I feel that Tsugumi no longer has a chance, or that the gap between Jin and her has become larger due to the recent events in the maid café. That face says everything (looking at my avie)… and her future doesn’t look too bright either. That's why, I can empathize with her situation the most, at least for now; hopefully, something happens, or develops, so she's in the race again...

Yeah know how you feel Falkor. That sixth episode really hit home her chances in my mind. Usually can empathize with the girl who is in a tough spot and that's sadly Tsugumi right now.

Still do think I've gotten to like her character more as the series has gone on. Her reactions are pretty fun and you do have to love that voice.

I love the food she brings over to Jin. Fried eggs. Fried vegetables. Fried eggs and vegetables. She's trying so hard how can you not pull for her to win?

I realised recently that her seiyuu Miyuki Sawashiro also played Mint Blancmange in Galaxy Angel, another incredible cutie.

She's my favorite female in this show since the first scene she appeared.

They're both interesting portrayals and good voice work .... Tsugumi just happens to be a goddess of cuddly and a bad little girl in a good way (her internal guilt discussions are hilarous). Nagi is goddess/wackjob/manic and definitely flexibly lean cute.

Personally I like 'em both and will sit back and see what kind of idiot Jin proves to be...

She is Japanese version of girl from next door archetype. Sadly, Jin seems to take her for granted.

The reason people like Tsugumi so much is actually because she's NOT the typical cute and innocent girl. Her adorable "mean" side just makes her even more attractive.

Just as Lucky Star had me buying chocolate cornets and food containing balsamic vinegar, Tsugumi has caused me to take an interest in fried eggs again. Perhaps the egg marketing board should sponsor this series.

Tsugumi is just so full of win. So what if she's a little selfish and wants Jin to notice her. It breaks my heart to see unrequited love for a character who deserves to be loved....Jin...you idiot... I want to hug her....moe

Actually I think she's more versatile than we give her credit for. She can also make

• Vegetables with fried egg & vegetables
• Fried egg with extra fried egg
• Fried egg with vegetables & fried egg.
• oeuf sur le plat
• oeuf sur le plat et légumes

I would love to see this scene:

Tsugumi: "I've made you a special treat, Oeuf sur le plat!"
Jin: "That sounds lovely! What's in it?"
Tsugumi: "Fried egg."

Yes. her voice is indeed adorable. Her voice..When she says "Iced Kohii to Cinnamon Tea" OMG! Extremely MOE!. Then she acts all tsundere at the cafe. ♥♥

Her voice is so cute and I feel really sorry for her when she does try and make an effort for Jin to notice her more than usual.
I liked Tsugumi from the beginning, I don't seem to connect with Nagi, she just gets on my nerves haha

I just noticed that there's been more discussion of Tsugumi than any other character — more than Zange and much more than Nagi! It would be interesting to have a character poll, perhaps Tsugumi would come top?!

She's very endearing, but OTOH I also like the naughty sexiness of Zange and the aloof godliness of Nagi so it would be a tough call. However if things continue in the way they have I think Tsugumi would probably edge the others out in my affections. At the start of the series I barely thought of her as a significant character at all, but now she's very much at the heart of things.
