I wouldn’t dismiss something similar to Turn A Gundam’s Black History having the colonies revert to the dark ages. Losing historical knowledge along the way.
Yoko’s findings are more concrete than the superstition Polyhedron’s people is working on. The people of Earth did not fear the Voxes but revere them. What Lan said about that period is that there was a great war and they left Earth because of the Voxes. But as said there are missing historical records on Polyhedron’s part. The Voxes didn’t destroy civilization forcing a mass exodus the war did that. What the Voxes did was kicking out the colonist invaders. |

From Wikipedia March 17, 2012 As Madoka approaches Pharos, Midori reacts to her presence and transmits her thoughts to Lan and Muginami, asking Tadoroko to try and get her ban lifted. As the two begin their attack against the enemy, the fleet focuses their attack on Lan whilst Muginami comes up against Villagiulo and a section of the fleet goes to attack Pharos. As Yoko reveals some of her research on the ancient people to Asteria, she manages to convince her to lift Madoka's ban, allowing her to fly up and assist her friends. As the enemy fires at Kamogawa, Kirius, Izo and Array stand to protect it. Just as the girls gain an advantage, Yoko gets critically injured when an enemy Ovid lands in the school, causing Madoka to become stressed which in turn causes the Voxes to once again go out of control and bloom Rinne flowers. I feel Déjà vu to ROBOTECH MASTERS / Southern-Cross ! Last edited by CrowKenobi; 2012-03-25 at 00:12. |

YEAH! One nice way to end the season, and with a rather unusual chronological setup. Some unexpected twists, more questions to ponder on, and...
Spoiler for Can't say--watch first:
Spoiler for The Musical Chairs:
Spoiler for Final endcard for Season 1:

Gotta be honest, for a series that started off pretty decent and looking like it might actually try to be it's own thing with it's own little groove it looks like they flat out ran out of ideas on what to do after the whole Muginami thing. Episodes 7-10 were all essentially total throwaways that failed to establish much of anything new and more or less came across as just a lazy way to pass the time until they could do a 2 episode finale to the first half. Could have easily done just one episode to esbtablish that the Vox Aura was being grounded and maybe even fit in another actual plotline that went somewhere for the other 3 to form a mini arc or something. This is one of my biggest pet peeves that I find inexcusable in anything less than a 50+ episode show and that is wasting time.
Episode 10 in particular was just flat out brutal and I'm not even kidding I almost flat out dropped the show when I saw yet another one of those souless school festival concert scenes coming up. I'm at the point now where I will honest to god drop any show that throws a concert scene at me now unless there's a REALLY good reason for it as I am just so done with this cliche worming it's way into every single show. Fortunately Episode 11 was actually decent again, but like with so many mecha shows of late I'm now at the point where I want to know where we stand and which show it's going to be for the bulk of the remainder. Is it going to phone it in with crossdressing/school festival/loli boss emasculation "comedy" or is it going to have that spirit and energy that the cast, setting and concept is perfectly capable of generating as was demonstrated by the first half and final 2 episodes. Still as it stands I am now in no real rush to pick up the second half and will probably let it run it's course before deciding if it's worthwhile. Just sick of feeling like shows are baiting and switching on me with the promise of decent mecha action/plot/drama/characters and then suddenly going on a huge stretch of absolute cookie cutter filler and lame throwaway gags. Get it together Japan please...not asking for much here. |

This is one of the best shows I ever seen, adorable main characters, great soundtrack and good animation. So going to miss it ;_;
Nice to see that a show can be funny but also serious at times. Things I like about the series are, the OP and ED, which does not spoil and indicate anything about the show content, and the writing. My favourite moments in the season final were: Spoiler:
