BTW BTOOOM!'s sales of the 1st Volume are bad, anime bombed really hard...
BD sales: <1,061 DVD sales: <760 I guess that's Medaka Box tier or somewhere near that level. Though some team picked up manga so I'm not really sad about the fact that we'll never see the 2nd season. Last edited by relentlessflame; 2012-12-01 at 13:10. |

I don't think this anime needs a second season per se. I also don't particularly care about its low sales rate. I just enjoy watching it. A lot.
Shit has hit the fan this episode like we predicted. Last edited by relentlessflame; 2012-12-01 at 13:10. |

Btooom deserved better than this. Inoue works his ass off to give us interesting characters and really Nice drawings only for the anime to fuck it up and make his work look average. It pisses me that HOTD got a Better anime adaption but the creator can't even come up with new chapters. I Hope the manga sales get an extra boost in January

I thought there was an article somewhere about the max age that the MCs need to be for an anime. I saw it on the forum one time.

While I think that the pacing doesn't do the content of the manga justice, the thrill it delivers doesn't let off even for a second and I think for an anime this kind of direction was one hell of a good choice.
Excellent episode, it went by very fast. Things kept happening one after another but the action flowed very nicely either way. We now know how each of the six BIMs shown in the OP work and as expected from our pro gamer Ryouta, he is trying to register every possibility of the enemy's traps and moves. The psychological warfare is really fun to watch. "What will he think about doing next? Do I go for it? Do I retreat? Do I attack or run? And where/when/how?" One miscalculation and you're done for as magnificently shown by our 'stupid adult'. Quote:
I agree that the manga's drawings were good but to be honest they were nothing special. The anime looks just fine to me (and more importantly it looks consistent), I don't see where you're coming from. For me the only noteworthy thing is Himiko's artbook which I admit is very sexy.

I read all the available manga yesterday and can say that it's adapted quite good compared to some other series - no complaints here.
Good action episode this time. I like how all flashback flesh out the characters. The only thing that irks me is Sakamoto's lack of distrust after all that has happened.
